Reds manager David Bell, speaking after Sunday's doubleheader, said that the Reds believe that Moustakas' arm injury is muscular in nature, John Fay of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports. "He got hit good in the arm. I do believe it is muscular. Temporarily that tightens up. It was impossible to do anything. The good news is if it's not near a bone, it will be a shorter recovery."

The Reds are home Monday for two games against Cleveland, then travel up to Cleveland for two more before hitting a three-game series in Milwaukee in a very important week. Hopefully we'll have more clarity on Moustakas' status before Monday's rosters lock.

Devers went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-7 loss to the Yankees.

Devers hit an RBI single to plate Kevin Pillar and later scored on a Miguel Andujar error in the third inning. Devers then launched a go-ahead homer in the seventh for Boston's last run of the game, but it wasn't enough to secure victory for the Red Sox. The third baseman has struggled to start 2020, with just one homer, two RBI and seven runs scored along with a .211 batting average in 10 games.

Machado went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and one run scored Sunday against the Rockies.

Both of Machado's hits drove in runs, the first a double in the sixth inning that cut the Rockies' lead to 3-1. He followed that up with a rally-starting single that plated Fernando Tatis Jr. in the eighth inning. Machado has been productive to start the season, as he now has two home runs, seven RBI and seven runs scored in 10 contests.

McMahon went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and two runs scored Sunday against the Padres.

McMahon took Tim Hill deep in the sixth inning, driving a ball just over the center field wall. It was his first home run of the season. While he's managed to reach base 11 times in his first 34 plate appearances, McMahon has struck out at least once in each of his starts this season. That has given him an inflated strikeout rate of 38 percent, a troubling mark even over a small sample size.

Urshela went 3-for-4 with an RBI double in Sunday's 9-7 win over the Red Sox.

Urshela's biggest contribution to the offense came in the third inning, when his double knocked in Gary Sanchez for the tying run. The third baseman wasn't able to homer for a third straight game, but Urshela's batting .308 after the three-hit effort. He has two homers, six RBI and six runs scored in eight games this year.

Madrigal went 4-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-2 win over Kansas City.

Madrigal turned the page on a rough introduction to MLB -- an 0-for-8 in games Friday and Saturday -- with Sunday's four-hit effort. He was integral to Chicago's seven-run seventh inning, scoring the run that broke a 2-2 tie, then driving in the team's final run for his first RBI of the season.

Bregman went 2-for-6 with a homer and two RBI in Sunday's win over the Angels.

Bregman's solo shot in the seventh inning was his second long ball of the season. He later knocked in the game-winning run with an 11th-inning single. Still, the 26-year-old infielder is batting just .211 with a .754 OPS through his first nine games.

Escobar served as designated hitter and went 0-for-4 in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Dodgers.

Escobar was given a break from playing third base, but it did nothing to wake up his bat from its early-season doldrums. The 31-year-old infielder is batting .132 and has a .379 OPS with 13 strikeouts in 38 at-bats (34.0 K%).

Newman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the Cubs.

Newman took Jon Lester deep in the first inning for his first home run of the season. While he's still hitting just .179 through 31 plate appearances, Newman now has back-to-back mulit-hit games. He'll look to maintain his improved results as the Pirates travel to Minnesota to take on the Twins.

Longoria went 1-for-3 with a solo homer and two RBI in Sunday's loss to Texas.

Longoria continued his red-hot start to 2020 with a solo homer in the sixth inning Sunday. In four games since returning from an oblique injury, the 34-year-old third baseman has six hits, five RBI and a 1.230 OPS.
