Senzel (heel) will bat leadoff and start at third base Sunday against the Rockies.

The 25-year-old was limited to bench duties the past two games after suffering the heel injury Thursday, but he'll rejoin the starting nine Sunday in Colorado. Senzel is making his first major-league start at third base, though he was shifted to the hot corner in-game once earlier this season.

Urias was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday.

The O's needed some length behind Adam Plutko on Sunday, so they swapped out Urias for lefty Bruce Zimmermann. Urias surprised with his small-sample performance last season, but he has struggled to a .226/.305/.321 line so far in 2021. He will have to spend at least 10 days in the minors unless he's brought back as an injury replacement.

Urshela (knee) is in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.

A knee injury cost Urshela several games and even required an MRI, but this is now back-to-back starts for the third baseman after he hit a pinch-hit homer in Friday's game. With that, it seems the worst of the knee issue is behind him. Urshela is slashing .303/.349/.479 with five home runs, 19 RBI, 11 runs scored and one steal through 33 games this season.

Candelario (knee) is available to come off the bench Sunday against the Cubs, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

As expected, Candelario is out of the lineup for the series finale against Chicago, but it sounds like he could still end up appearing off the bench, which suggests the swelling in his knee has already started to die down. He was hit by a pitch on his left knee Saturday. Jonathan Schoop will be the starting first baseman in Candelario's absence.

Moncada went 1-for-3 with a walk in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Royals.

Moncada's sixth-inning single extended his hit streak to five games, and a first-inning walk extended an on-base streak to nine contests. He's 9-for-30 (.300) with eight walks, six RBI and six runs scored during the on-base streak.

Duffy went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run and five RBI in Saturday's 9-8 extra-inning loss to the Tigers.

His first long ball of the season came off Alex Lange in the fifth inning, giving the Cubs a 7-6 lead -- the third of four leads on the day that would eventually slip through their fingers. Duffy continues to see consistent playing time in May, slashing .282/.310/.436 in 42 plate appearances on the month, but he'll need to keep hitting to avoid falling into a bench role now that the team's roster is mostly healthy.

Arenado went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Saturday in a loss to the Padres.

The third baseman launched a 406-foot solo homer in the sixth inning. The long ball was his second in as many games and eighth overall this season. Over his past three games, Arenado has gone 7-for-13 with two homers, two runs and three RBI.

Escobar went 3-for-5 with two home runs, three total runs and seven total RBI in an 11-4 win over Washington on Saturday.

Escobar plated two runs with a single in the first inning, but that was only the beginning of a big night at the plate. He launched a three-run homer to right field in the fourth and a two-run shot in the eighth, helping him tie a career high with seven RBI. Escobar entered the game mired in a 1-for-34 slump and is batting only .213 on the season, but his nine home runs are tied for 13th in the league.

Farmer went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's win over the Rockies.

Farmer tallied his second three-hit game this week. His home run came in the 11th inning off Ben Bowden to give the Reds a two-run lead. The 30-year-old isn't hitting very well on a day-to-day basis, but he is receiving more playing time due to Joey Votto (thumb) being on the 10-day injured list. Farmer is slashing .241/.337/.337 with two home runs, nine RBI and 11 runs in 95 plate appearances.

Devers went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored during Saturday's 9-0 win versus the Angels.

The 24-year-old delivered a solo shot during the seventh inning and scored earlier in the contest on a double from Bobby Dalbec. Devers has a .279/.356/.571 slash line with 10 home runs, 11 doubles, 31 RBI and 25 runs through 38 games.
