LeMahieu went 3-for-5 with a double, four RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 10-3 win over Baltimore.

The 33-year-old played a clutch role for the Yankees in this contest. He tied the game with an RBI single in the fifth inning, then sparked a five-run rally for the lead in the seventh with another RBI single. LeMahieu completed his three-hit effort with a two-run double in the eighth, giving him a season-high four RBI in the game. The infielder has gone 5-for-9 with three doubles in the last two games, making it the first time since June 26-27 he's posted consecutive multi-hit efforts. He's slashing .268/.345/.365 with seven home runs, 44 RBI, 51 runs scored and four stolen bases through 455 plate appearances overall.

Escobar went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Wednesday's 4-2 win over Pittsburgh.

All three of Escobar's hits were singles, including a run-scoring knock in the third inning. He's gone 6-for-21 (.286) with two home runs, six RBI and four runs scored across six games since he was traded from Arizona to Milwaukee at the trade deadline. The infielder has a .248/.306/.488 slash line with 24 homers, 71 RBI and 54 runs scored across 425 plate appearances overall.

Duffy is not starting Wednesday's game against the Rockies.

Duffy has gone hitless in three consecutive games and is a miserable 1-for-25 in eight contests since returning from the injured list. Patrick Wisdom will shift to third base Wednesday, with Frank Schwindel starting at first base.

Rendon (hamstring) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Wednesday and will undergo season-ending surgery to address a right hip impingement, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Rendon had been on the injured list since July 4 due to a left hamstring strain, and he suffered a setback in mid-July. He continued to make slow progress recently, and he'll now be shut down for the remainder of the year due to a hip issue. The 31-year-old slashed .240/.329/.382 with six home runs, 34 RBI and 24 runs across 58 games during his second season with the Angels. Jack Mayfield and Phil Gosselin will continue to handle the duties at the hot corner in Rendon's stead.

Triple-A Charlotte placed Burger on its 7-day injured list Wednesday due to a bone bruise on his right hand, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Burger posted a strong .807 OPS over a 15-game stint with the White Sox in July before being optioned to Triple-A when the big club didn't have regular playing time available for him following Eloy Jimenez's return from the 60-day injured list. Upon returning to Charlotte, the 25-year-old third baseman played in just four games before going down with the injury. The White Sox haven't provided a timeline for Burger, but given the nature of his injury, he should have a good chance to return to action for Charlotte before the end of the minor-league season.

Davis is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Marlins.

Davis will be out of the lineup for the fourth time in the last six games after he went 2-for-6 with a double, two runs, an RBI and two walks across his last two appearances. Jonathan Villar will take his place at the hot corner and bat seventh.

Rivera (wrist) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Wednesday.

Rivera made five total rehab appearances, but he only required one game at Triple-A Omaha before he was cleared to return. During his rehab stint, he went 6-for-20 with a home run, three RBI, two runs, a stolen base and two walks. The 25-year-old will start at third base and bat sixth Wednesday against the White Sox, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

Hayes isn't in the lineup Wednesday against the Brewers, Jake Crouse of MLB.com reports.

Hayes is in the midst of a slump in which he's gone 0-for-13 with a run and a strikeout across his last three appearances, and he'll be out of the lineup for the second time in the last four games. Rodolfo Castro will shift to the hot corner while Wilmer Difo takes over at second base.

Hayes went 0-for-5 in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Brewers.

He has just five hits in his last 40 at-bats and is slashing .205/.262/.304 with an 8:31 BB:K since June 28. While it's possible that the wrist injury that forced him to the 60-day IL early in the season is still bothering him, he has played impeccably at third base. With just one home run in his last 176 plate appearances, however, there's a decent chance his left wrist still isn't healthy.

Donaldson (hamstring) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.

Donaldson's tight right hamstring will keep him on the bench for the fifth game in a row, but the Twins continue to hold out hope that he'll avoid a trip to the injured list. Luis Arraez will cover third base in Donaldson's stead.
