Rendon went 3-for-4 with a homer, a walk and two RBI in Friday's 4-2 win over the Phillies.

Rendon smacked his fourth homer of the year to stake the Nats to a four-run lead in a winning effort. After his three-homer outburst earlier in the week, he's clubbed four homers over the last five games, and he appears on his way to another 20-homer campaign with his usual solid batting average.

LeMahieu went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI singles and a run in Wednesday's 11-3 win over the Padres.

The Rockies' second baseman opened the scoring on the night with a hit into right that brought home Charlie Blackmon in the first and followed that up with a fifth-inning RBI single that extended Colorado's lead to 10-1. It was a welcome outing for LeMahieu, who came into the game mired in a 2-for-20 slump that had lowered his average to .255. Although he's seen a significant reduction in his overall line and RBI production thus far in 2017, the 28-year-old is actually sporting better walk and strikeout rates than last season. The major difference lies in his BABIP, with his current .295 figure almost a full 100 points lower than last season's unsustainable .393.

Suarez went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk against the Pirates on Wednesday.

His first-inning bomb against Jameson Taillon turned out to be all the offense the Reds would need. Last season was a roller coaster, but this year has seen Suarez leap out to a monstrous start, as his .322/.408/.611 line is elite. Suarez has cut down his strikeouts noticeably and raised his walk rate considerably, and while some BABIP regression will surely lower his average, it still looks like he's turning into a legitimate cross-category contributor.

Senzel went 2-for-4 with a double Tuesday for High-A Daytona, Zach Buchanan from the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Senzel, the Reds' first-round draft pick in 2016, is hitting .288/.345/.413 with Daytona, and is 4-for-4 on the basepaths. The Reds haven't disclosed their plans as to when they'll promote Senzel to Double-A.

Kieboom went 5-for-7 with a double, three home runs, four runs scored and five RBI in Low-A Hagerstown's 22-4 rout of Lexington on Sunday.

On the same day the major-league squad was crushing the Mets, its Low-A affiliate was setting a new Sally League record by banging out 30 hits in a game, with Kieboom leading the way. The Nats' No. 5 prospect is hitting an impressive .333/.413/.580 through 21 games for Hagerstown, and the 19-year-old may not be long for the level if he keeps raking. Kieboom's ability to hit for power was the biggest question mark in his profile when he was drafted, but so far in 2017 he seems to be putting those doubts to rest.

Suarez is not in the lineup Monday against the Pirates.

Suarez will head to the bench to take a breather after starting each of the last 10 games for the Reds. Scooter Gennett will take over at third base in his stead.

Rendon went 6-for-6 with three home runs and 10 RBI in Sunday's win over the Mets.

It was an absolute performance for the ages by Rendon, whose 10 RBI on the day set a new Nationals record. In addition to driving in 10, his three-home-run performance was his first multi-homer game of his big-league career. Rendon's game on Sunday will be a strong candidate all year for the best single-game performance by any major-league player this season.

Muncy signed a minor-league contract with the Dodgers, Eric Stephen of SB Nation reports.

Muncy, a 26-year-old utility man, was a non-roster invitee with the A's this spring, though he didn't make the team and was eventually released at the end of spring training. He has a career major-league slash line of .195/.290/.321 across two seasons (96 games) with the A's. Muncy was added to Triple-A Oklahoma City's roster, where he'll likely spend the year.

LeMahieu is not in the lineup Friday against the Diamondbacks, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

LeMahieu will take a seat for just the second time all year as Pat Valaika takes over at second base in his stead. The 28-year-old is slashing .271/.361/.376 through 23 games this season.

Peterson went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Thursday's win over the Mets.

Getting the start at second base in place of Brandon Phillips (groin), Peterson chipped in his second straight two-hit game. Phillips is expected back in action Friday, however, likely sending Peterson and his .652 OPS through 18 games back to the bench.
