Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Goes deep twice
Muncy went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs and a walk in Tuesday's loss to the Angels.
Muncy accounted for most of the Dodgers' offense against their crosstown rivals, drilling a pair of solo shots to center field in the third and fifth innings. The versatile infielder increased his homer total to 15 on the season -- 11 which have come on the road. Proving that his out-of-nowhere season in 2018 was no fluke, Muncy has complemented the power numbers with a .278/.374/.534 slash line and 40 RBI.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Braves' Josh Donaldson: Hits solo homer
Donaldson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 7-5 rain-shortened victory against the Pirates on Tuesday.
Playing while appealing his suspension, Donaldson went deep in his first at-bat in the second inning. It set up the Braves for four solo homers in the frame. Donaldson is only batting .237, but he does have 26 extra-base hits, including nine homers, 26 RBI and 36 runs in 219 at-bats this season.

Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Leaves Tuesday's game
Hayes suffered an undisclosed injury and exited Tuesday's game for Triple-A Indianapolis.
It's not currently clear what type of injury Hayes sustained, but he was removed from the game during the ninth inning. The 22-year-old is slashing .245/.339/.395 this season in his first taste of Triple-A ball.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Braves' Josh Donaldson: Appealing one-game suspension
Donaldson was suspended for one game following Monday's night's altercation, but he'll appeal the ban and is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
Donaldson was nicked by a pitch Monday night and it soon became clear that he wasn't happy about it, resulting in the ejection of both pitcher Joe Musgrove and Donaldson. Donaldson will be allowed to play until MLB makes a final ruling.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies' Nolan Arenado: Ends brief power outage
Arenado went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Monday in the Rockies' 6-5 win over the Cubs.
Arenado's third-inning blast off Yu Darvish ended a six-game skid during which he went 4-for-22 with no extra-base knocks. Nothing has helped Arenado overcome brief lulls in his production quite like home cooking; he's batting .395/.440/.697 (158 wRC+) at Coors Field this season, compared to a still-respectable .273/.325/.525 (118 wRC+) in road venues.

Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Looking for power stroke
Hayes went 2-for-5 with a solo homer for Triple-A Indianapolis on Sunday.
The 22-year-old is playing above the Double-A level for the first time and the results have thus far proven to be mediocre. Hayes is slashing .245/.339/.395 in 220 at-bats. He's hit three home runs and now has 18 homers in 1,515 minor-league at-bats. He remains Pittsburgh's third baseman of the future, but the organization is looking for the gap power he's shown (20 doubles in 2019) to turn into home-run power.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Phillies' Jean Segura: Productive in loss to Arizona
Segura went 1-for-5 with a solo home run, a second run scored and a stolen base in Monday's 13-8 loss to the Diamondbacks.
He took Taylor Clarke deep in the first inning -- one of an MLB-record 13 homers the two teams launched on the night -- then reached on a fielder's choice, swiped second and scored in the third. Segura's now slashing .291/.339/.463 on the year with six homers, a somewhat disappointing four steals, 27 RBI and 41 runs in 56 games.

Ildemaro Vargas 1B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ildemaro Vargas: Blasts two homers in win
Vargas went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Monday's 13-8 win over the Phillies.
The 27-year-old doubled his homer total on the year by going yard in the fifth and ninth innings -- part of an eight-HR explosion by the D-backs that set a new club record, and a 13-HR slugfest between the two teams that set a new major-league record. Vargas is now slashing .266/.298/.413 through 42 games with 12 RBI and 16 runs.

Eduardo Escobar 3B | TOR
Diamondbacks' Eduardo Escobar: Goes yard twice in slugfest
Escobar went 4-for-5 with a double, two home runs, three runs scored and five RBI in Monday's 13-8 win over the Phillies.
The two teams combined for an MLB-record 13 long balls in total, while Escobar led the charge on a franchise-record eight for Arizona. The 30-year-old remains locked in at the plate, slashing .342/.376/.734 over his last 18 games with seven home runs, 16 runs scored and a whopping 23 RBI.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Accounts for lone run in win
Muncy went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 1-0 win over the Giants.
Muncy's first-inning blast into McCovey Cove held up as the difference in the low-scoring contest and may have helped him earn some new fans in light of his colorful post-game comments directed at Madison Bumgarner, who took offense with the first baseman's home-run trot. The 28-year-old reached base two more times for good measure and now maintains a .372 on-base percentage to supplement his strong power production (.236 ISO). He's not quite on pace for a second straight 35-homer campaign, but Muncy is proving that his 2018 breakout was no fluke.
