Machado went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Machado's game-tying blast came in the sixth inning off reliever Matt Andriese. The slugger is up to 31 homers, 83 RBI and 80 runs scored while slashing .253/.332/.455 in 154 games this season.

  • Kevin Newman 3B | LAA

Pirates' Kevin Newman: Hits walkoff homer

Newman went 2-for-4 with a walkoff home run, five RBI and a walk during a 6-5 victory against the Reds on Friday.

The 26-year-old delivered his fourth walkoff moment (one was an actual walk) of the season with a two-run blast in the ninth. Newman came into the night with just one home run at home this year, but his two long balls propelled the Pirates to a fifth straight win. Newman is batting .310 with 12 home runs, 64 RBI, 61 runs and 16 steals in 484 at-bats this season.

  • Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY

Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Belts 24th homer

McMahon went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Friday's victory over the Brewers.

McMahon extended the Rockies' lead with a home run -- his 24th of the season -- in the seventh inning. Overall, the 24-year-old is slashing .252/.331/.456 with 83 RBI and 70 runs scored.

  • J.D. Davis 1B | LAA

Mets' J.D. Davis: Cranks 21st homer

Davis went 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run homer in Friday's win over Atlanta.

Davis put his team ahead in the fourth inning with his 21st long ball of the 2019 campaign. The 26-year-old is slashing .307/.368/.522 over 138 contests.

  • Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL

Braves' Josh Donaldson: Registers 94th RBI

Donaldson went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a walk in Friday's loss to the Mets.

Donaldson kicked off the scoring in this one with an RBI single to right field, but Atlanta would fall 4-2. The 33-year-old is slashing .260/.380/.524 with 37 home runs and 94 RBI over 155 games in 2019.

  • Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW

Brewers' Mike Moustakas: Nursing elbow soreness

Moustakas isn't in Friday's lineup against Colorado due to a sore right elbow, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

It was announced prior to Friday's series opener that the third baseman is nursing an elbow issue, which is why he's sitting for the second straight day. He'll be considered day-to-day moving forward but will be available off the bench if needed.

  • Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW

Brewers' Mike Moustakas: Sitting again Friday

Moustakas isn't in the starting lineup for Friday's game against Colorado.

Moustakas will head to the bench for the second straight contest, which is odd considering the Brewers are currently pushing for a division title. There's been no word of an injury for the starting third baseman at this point, however. Cory Spangenberg draws the start at the hot corner and is set to bat seventh.

  • Jean Segura 3B | CLE

    Phillies' Jean Segura: Sitting Friday

Segura (ankle) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Marlins.

Segura sustained the right ankle sprain during Thursday's game against the Nationals, so it's no surprise to see him withheld from Friday's starting nine. The 29-year-old seems like a decent bet to be done for the season with only a couple games left on the schedule and the Phillies out of playoff contention. Scott Kingery will start at shortstop in the series opener while Maikel Franco takes over at the hot corner.

  • Jean Segura 3B | CLE

Phillies' Jean Segura: Exits with ankle injury

Segura was removed from Thursday's game against the Nationals with a right ankle sprain, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic reports.

Segura went 1-for-2 before exiting with the injury prior to the bottom of the fifth inning. With just three games left in the season and the Phillies out of playoff contention, Segura could be done for the year. Sean Rodriguez entered the game in his place.

  • Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW

Brewers' Mike Moustakas: Out of Thursday's lineup

Moustakas is not in Thursday's lineup against the Reds.

The Brewers are also resting veterans Ryan Braun and Lorenzo Cain after clinching a playoff spot Wednesday. Travis Shaw will start at third base and bat sixth.
