Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies' Nolan Arenado: Clocks first home run
Arenado went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Monday's 7-6 win over the Giants.
Arenado's two-run blast jumpstarted a five-run sixth inning for the Rockies. It was the first long ball of the year for the perennial MVP candidate. He's slashing just .235/.308/.324 with three RBI and three runs scored.

J.D. Davis 1B | LAA
Mets' J.D. Davis: Late add to Monday's lineup
Davis was a late addition to Monday's lineup against the Braves. He is starting at designated hitter and batting fifth.
He had an upset stomach Monday morning but is feeling fine at the time of first pitch. Meanwhile, Jeff McNeil was scratched for an undisclosed reason.

Nick Senzel 3B | LAD
Reds' Nick Senzel: Scratched from Monday's lineup
Senzel was scratched from Monday's lineup against Cleveland with a sprained left ring finger, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.
Senzel sustained the injury while sliding into a base during Sunday's game against the Tigers. He was going to try testing it out Monday, but he'll instead take a day off to recover. Shogo Akiyama will shift to center field, while Christian Colon will enter the lineup as the designated hitter, batting eighth.

Mets' J.D. Davis: Not in Monday's lineup
Davis is out of the lineup Monday against the Braves.
Davis recorded a double Sunday against the Braves, but he'll sit for the second time in the last three contests in Monday's series finale. Jeff McNeil will shift to left field with Andres Gimenez starting at third base, batting eighth.

Austin Riley 3B | ATL
Braves' Austin Riley: Not in lineup Monday
Riley is not in the lineup Monday against the Mets.
Riley blasted his second extra-base hit of the season Sunday with a double against the Mets, but he'll take a seat for the series finale. Johan Camargo will start at third base, batting eighth.

Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW
Reds' Mike Moustakas: Returns to lineup
Moustakas (forearm) is in the lineup for Monday's game against Cleveland, batting third.
Moustakas was held out of the second game of Sunday's doubleheader against the Tigers after being hit by a pitch during Game 1. However, the issue was muscular and not particularly serious. The 31-year-old has gone 5-for-16 with two home runs and six RBI over his first five games this season.

Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW
Reds' Mike Moustakas: Injury believed to be muscular
Reds manager David Bell, speaking after Sunday's doubleheader, said that the Reds believe that Moustakas' arm injury is muscular in nature, John Fay of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports. "He got hit good in the arm. I do believe it is muscular. Temporarily that tightens up. It was impossible to do anything. The good news is if it's not near a bone, it will be a shorter recovery."
The Reds are home Monday for two games against Cleveland, then travel up to Cleveland for two more before hitting a three-game series in Milwaukee in a very important week. Hopefully we'll have more clarity on Moustakas' status before Monday's rosters lock.

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Padres' Manny Machado: Drives in a pair
Machado went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and one run scored Sunday against the Rockies.
Both of Machado's hits drove in runs, the first a double in the sixth inning that cut the Rockies' lead to 3-1. He followed that up with a rally-starting single that plated Fernando Tatis Jr. in the eighth inning. Machado has been productive to start the season, as he now has two home runs, seven RBI and seven runs scored in 10 contests.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Clubs first homer
McMahon went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and two runs scored Sunday against the Padres.
McMahon took Tim Hill deep in the sixth inning, driving a ball just over the center field wall. It was his first home run of the season. While he's managed to reach base 11 times in his first 34 plate appearances, McMahon has struck out at least once in each of his starts this season. That has given him an inflated strikeout rate of 38 percent, a troubling mark even over a small sample size.

Eduardo Escobar 3B | TOR
Diamondbacks' Eduardo Escobar: Moves to DH
Escobar served as designated hitter and went 0-for-4 in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Dodgers.
Escobar was given a break from playing third base, but it did nothing to wake up his bat from its early-season doldrums. The 31-year-old infielder is batting .132 and has a .379 OPS with 13 strikeouts in 38 at-bats (34.0 K%).
