Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Part of Monday's lineup
Hayes will bat second and start at third base Monday against the Nationals.
Hayes, who is 3-for-6 against Monday starter Jon Lester, has at least one hit in each of the 11 games he's started and finished in 2021. He holds a slash line of .302/.362/.605 with three homers in 47 plate appearances, picking up where he left off after an impressive 2020 showing. Perhaps most importantly, the 24-year-old hasn't reported any recurrence of the wrist injury that forced him to the 60-day injured list earlier in the season.

Brian Anderson RF | ATL
Marlins' Brian Anderson: Still not swinging
Anderson (shoulder) has yet to begin hitting, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Reports from early last week indicated that Anderson was on the verge of starting his hitting progression, but he's still yet to take that step. He was expected to miss several weeks when he landed on the injured list with a left shoulder subluxation in late May, but it remains unclear exactly when the Marlins expect him back.

Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW
Reds' Mike Moustakas: Beginning rehab stint
Moustakas (heel) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday and could be activated during the four-game series at San Diego, which begins Thursday, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
The 32-year-old has been sidelined by a bruised right heel since May 18, but he's on the cusp of his return after a nearly monthlong absence. Moustakas is only expected to require a few games in the minors to get back up to speed, assuming he avoids any setbacks.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Brief IL stint expected
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said over the weekend that he anticipates Muncy (oblique) spending the minimum 10 days on the injured list, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Roberts' comments imply some level of confidence that Muncy is dealing with a low-grade strain to his right oblique, but given the volatile timetables typically associated with this type of injury, it's hardly a given that the 30-year-old will be ready to return from the IL when first eligible June 22. Muncy will travel with the Dodgers for their six-game, two-city road trip that begins Friday, and he'll likely need to prove his health in batting practice and fielding and baserunning drills during the upcoming weekend in order to guarantee a brief IL stint.

Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN
Reds' Eugenio Suarez: Socks two-run shot
Suarez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's win over the Rockies.
There's been a lot of talk regarding Suarez's down year on offense, but the third baseman seems to be on the right path to turn things around and has hit safely in all but three of his appearances this month. He's hitting just .225 in 40 at-bats in June, but even that's an upgrade considering he hit just .186 in May and .130 in April.

Austin Riley 3B | ATL
Braves' Austin Riley: Snaps skid
Riley went 3-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-4 win over Miami.
The third baseman entered Sunday 0-for-16 over his last four games. He snapped the skid with a two-RBI single in the first inning to get Atlanta on the board. Riley added a solo shot in the third for his 12th homer of the year. The 24-year-old is slashing .299/.384/.517 with 30 RBI and 34 runs scored across 244 plate appearances in a breakout season. He's had some streaky moments, but there's been more good than bad through 62 games.

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Padres' Manny Machado: Smacks solo shot
Machado went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-3 win over the Mets.
The third baseman capped off a six-run seventh inning for San Diego with a solo shot to follow Fernando Tatis' grand slam. Machado has gone yard three times in the last eight games, adding seven RBI and three runs scored in that span. For the year, he's slashing .242/.327/.423 with nine homers, 38 RBI, 29 runs scored and six stolen bases.

Jace Peterson SS | ARI
Brewers' Jace Peterson: Collects fourth straight start
Peterson will start in left field and bat fifth Sunday against the Pirates.
After starting in each of the Brewers' previous three contests, Peterson will stick in the lineup for a fourth straight contest, this time replacing a resting Christian Yelich. Peterson has reached base at a .385 clip over the past three games, and he looks like he'll have his clearest plan to the keystone in the short term while Kolten Wong (oblique) is on the 10-day injured list.

Nick Senzel 3B | LAD
Reds' Nick Senzel: Shifts to 60-day IL
The Reds transferred Senzel (knee) to the 60-day injured list Sunday.
Senzel's last appearance for the Reds came May 17. He underwent surgery on his left knee a week and a half later, prompting the club to target the All-Star break for his return to action. His move to the 60-day IL ensures he won't be available for the first couple of games after the break, but Senzel's timeline to return shouldn't be dramatically altered by the transaction. Aristides Aquino (wrist) was activated from the 60-day IL in a corresponding move, and he'll likely serve as a reserve outfielder behind everyday starters Jesse Winker, Nick Castellanos and Tyler Naquin.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Cranks 12th homer
Arenado went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Cubs.
Arenado homered off Kyle Hendricks in the second inning to give the Cardinals a brief 1-0 lead. The 30-year-old is having a great first year with St. Louis, leading the Cardinals with 44 RBI, which is second-best in the National League. He has eight RBI in his last five games and he's slashing .286/.335/.522 in 266 plate appearances.
