Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Fills stat sheet Tuesday
Muncy went 2-for-2 with a home run, a double, two walks, two RBI, a stolen base and three runs scored in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Rockies.
Muncy is starting to find his power again, as he's homered three times in his last seven games. He was productive across the board Tuesday, but that's been a rarity for the infielder in 2022. For the season, he's at a .171/.326/.327 slash line with eight homers, one steal, 25 RBI and 32 runs scored through 261 plate appearances.

Austin Riley 3B | ATL
Braves' Austin Riley: Knocks three hits, homer
Riley went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double and an additional RBI in a 7-1 win against the Cardinals on Tuesday.
Riley contributed to a five-run first with a two-run home run. He followed up with a single in the third and a run-scoring double in the fourth to chase St. Louis starter Andre Pallante. The 25-year-old has been scorching of late, batting 12-for-24 with three doubles and three home runs over his last six games. The long ball was Riley's 21st, putting him on pace to surpass last season's career high of 33.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Phillies' Jean Segura: Showing signs of progress
Segura has had the pins removed from his broken right index finger, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Segura is about a month removed from undergoing surgery on his broken finger, and this is the first reported sign of progress. Segura has resumed working out and was able to field some grounders Tuesday, but he still has a ways to go in his recovery and is not expected back until sometime in mid-to-late August.

Matt Reynolds 3B | CIN
Reds' Matt Reynolds: Replaces banged-up Farmer in lineup
Reynolds will start at shortstop and bat eighth in Tuesday's game against the Mets.
Reynolds will get his third straight start in the middle infield while everyday shortstop Kyle Farmer (hand) misses another game. The Reds haven't suggested that Farmer is a candidate to land on the 10-day injured list, so Reynolds' stint as a lineup regular could soon come to an end. Reynolds was productive in Tuesday's 7-4 loss, going 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored while also reaching base on a hit-by-pitch.

Kyle Farmer 3B | ATL
Reds' Kyle Farmer: Remains out Tuesday
Farmer (hand) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mets.
Farmer's hand injury will keep him on the bench for the third game in a row, but the Reds seemingly have optimism he'll avoid a trip to the injured list. According to Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer, manager David Bell said Farmer was re-evaluated Tuesday and received more good news, though the skipper didn't go into any specifics. Matt Reynolds will fill in at shortstop and should operate as the primary option at the position for however long Farmer is sidelined.

J.D. Davis 1B | LAA
Mets' J.D. Davis: Gets second start in six games
Davis will serve as the Mets' designated hitter and No. 8 batter in Tuesday's game against the Reds.
Davis will crack the lineup for only the second time in six games, with both of those assignments coming against left-handed starting pitchers. Luis Guillorme and Dominic Smith are on the bench Tuesday, but both appear to be higher priorities than Davis for manager Buck Showalter when it comes to filling out the final spot of the Mets' everyday lineup.

Nick Senzel 3B | LAD
Reds' Nick Senzel: Pops second homer
Senzel went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Mets.
The 27-year-old took Drew Smith deep in the seventh inning, providing the Reds with their last gasp of offense on the night and Senzel with only his second homer in 53 games. He's locked in right now though, batting .432 (16-for-37) over his last 11 games with three steals, six RBI and eight runs, and Cincinnati will continue to give him plenty of playing time as the 2016 first-round pick tries to put together his long-awaited breakout.
-
Buddy Kennedy 3B | SF
Diamondbacks' Buddy Kennedy: Drives in two in win
Kennedy went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in Monday's 8-3 win over San Francisco.
Kennedy's first-inning single plated two runners and tied the game after the Giants grabbed a lead in the top of the frame. While the Diamondbacks play it safe with Ketel Marte -- he's served as the designated hitter since sustaining a hamstring injury two weeks ago -- Kennedy has become the primary second baseman, making eight consecutive starts. Since joining Arizona mid-June, Kennedy has driven in 10 runs over 14 games.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Not starting Monday
Muncy is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Rockies.
Muncy went just 4-for-33 (.121) over his last 10 games, so he will get a chance to clear his head. Mookie Betts will start at second base Monday, and Hanser Alberto will get the nod at third.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Not in Monday's lineup
McMahon is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.
McMahon has been getting some starts against left-handers, but that will not be the case Monday, as manager Bud Black will start nine right-handed hitters against Dodgers lefty Julio Urias. Garrett Hampson will garner a start in McMahon's place.
