Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Marlins' Jean Segura: Day off Wednesday
Segura is not in the starting lineup Wednesday versus the Cardinals, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Segura will get a breather after he went 1-for-8 with a walk and a strikeout over the first two games of the series. Jon Berti will take over at third base and bat sixth in the series finale with St. Louis.

Austin Riley 3B | ATL
Braves' Austin Riley: Goes yard twice in losing effort
Riley went 3-for-5 with a double, two home runs, three runs scored and seven RBI in Tuesday's 16-13 loss to the Diamondbacks.
The seven RBI were a career best for Riley, as he launched a three-run shot off Zach Davies in the fourth inning and a two-run blast off Austin Adams in the sixth. The third baseman once again appears to be heating up along with the weather -- over his last 24 games, he's slashing .277/.342/.525 with seven of his 18 homers and 18 of his 52 RBI on the season.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Clubs 15th homer
McMahon went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's victory over Houston.
McMahon teamed up with Kris Bryant in the first inning for back-to-back homers off Hunter Brown, marking McMahon's 15th long ball of the season and his third of July. Tuesday's multi-hit effort snapped a mini-slump for McMahon, who entered the contest 1-for-12 (.083) across his last three appearances. The infielder is slashing .257/.336/.466 through 92 games and could push for a career high in homers.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Walks off Marlins
Arenado went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's extra-inning win against Miami.
The 32-year-old walked off the Marlins with a 389-foot shot to left field with two outs in the 10th inning, and he now has seven RBI through the first two games of the series. Arenado scuffled to a .600 OPS during the first month of the season, but his season slash line now sits at .286/.336/.529 with 21 home runs, 71 RBI and 45 runs in 91 games.

Edmundo Sosa LF | PHI
Phillies' Edmundo Sosa: Out of lineup Tuesday
Sosa (leg) is out of the lineup Tuesday versus the Brewers.
Sosa made an early exit from the second half of Saturday's doubleheader against the Padres due to a leg cramp, but he scored a run off the bench in Sunday's series finale and should be available in the same capacity as the Phillies open a three-game set against Milwaukee. Alec Bohm is starting at third base and batting seventh for the Phillies on Tuesday.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Nationals' Jeimer Candelario: Homers in return to lineup
Candelario went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored Monday in a 7-5 win against the Cubs.
Candelario was removed from Friday's game against the Cardinals due to a thumb injury and wasn't able to start either Saturday or Sunday. However, he was back in the lineup Monday and showed immediately that the thumb is no longer an issue, smashing a two-run shot in the first inning to give Washington an early lead. Candelario is quietly putting together a solid campaign, slashing .263/.340/.486 with 14 homers, 27 doubles, 45 RBI, 48 runs and five steals over 368 plate appearances.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Knocks in four runs Monday
Arenado went 2-for-3 with a double and four RBI in a 6-4 win against Miami on Monday.
Arenado plated the majority of the Cardinals' runs in the contest, notching an RBI single in the third inning, a sacrifice fly in the fifth and a two-run double in the sixth. The veteran third baseman tied a season high with the four RBI, and he's accomplished that feat four different times during the campaign. Arenado is enjoying a very productive July, slashing .340/.393/.745 with four homers, seven doubles, 14 RBI and nine runs over 13 games.

Patrick Wisdom 3B | SEA
Cubs' Patrick Wisdom: Hits 16th home run
Wisdom went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Monday's loss to the Nationals.
Wisdom batted ninth but still managed to provide some offense for the Cubs. His lineup placement is likely due to his weak .194 batting average. Wisdom has struggled even more since the beginning of June, going just 5-for-41 (.122) with 22 strikeouts across 16 games. He did miss some time with a wrist sprain, so perhaps he's still trying to find his groove, though Wisdom did bat only .207 last season and isn't known for maintaining a high average.

Nick Madrigal 2B | LAA
Cubs' Nick Madrigal: Takes BP on Monday
Madrigal (hamstring) took batting practice Monday, Taylor McGregor of Marquee Sports Network reports.
He fielded some grounders, as well. Madrigal has been on the shelf for nearly all of July with a right hamstring strain but appears to be making progress. It's not clear whether he will require a rehab assignment before returning.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Nationals' Jeimer Candelario: Set to start Monday
Candelario (thumb) will start at third base and bat third Monday against the Cubs, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
Candelario was a late scratch from the lineup ahead of Sunday's 8-4 loss to the Cardinals when his thumb bothered him in pregame warmups, but he looks on track to give it a go Monday. If Candelario's thumb is still presenting complications in the field leading up to the 8:05 p.m. ET opening pitch, the Nationals could turn to Ildemaro Vargas to spell him at third base.
