Lipscomb was optioned to Triple-A Rochester on Monday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Lipscomb got regular at-bats at third base while Nick Senzel was on the injured list, but with Senzel back in action Lipscomb will head back to Rochester to play every day. The 23-year-old has slashed .224/.278/.286 with one home run and four stolen bases over 14 games with the big club.

The Nationals reinstated Senzel (thumb) from the 10-day injured list Monday, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Senzel landed on the 10-day IL after he fractured his right thumb while fielding grounders before the Nationals' season opener. He played three games with Double-A Harrisburg as part of his rehab assignment and went 4-for-7 with one double, one RBI and three walks. Senzel is starting at third base and batting sixth for Monday's game against the Dodgers, per Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com.

Brujan (knee) is available off the bench for Monday's game against the Giants, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Brujan isn't starting Monday after exiting Sunday's contest with a right knee injury, but it appears he's fine. The utility player is just 2-for-20 so far at the plate this season for Miami.

Bohm is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Rockies.

It's a rare day off for Bohm, who has now started 15 of 17 contests for the Phillies this season. Whit Merrifield will get a start at third base while Bohm receives some rest.

Candelario went 2-for-5 with two RBI, a run scored and was caught stealing in Sunday's 11-4 win over the White Sox.

Candelario delivered his first multi-hit effort of the season, including a two-run single in the fourth inning. Another first for the infielder was his placement in the batting order; Candelario's first 13 starts were at cleanup, but a season-opening slump dropped him to seventh Sunday against a right-hander. It's unclear if the switch-hitting Candelario will also be dropped against left-handers. On Monday, the Reds kick off a three-game set against the Mariners, who have righties scheduled to start all three contests.

Muncy went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Padres.

Muncy took Yu Darvish deep to right in the fourth to put the Dodgers ahead 3-1 and the offense would be shut out the rest of the way. That's now three home runs in his last four games and he's also managed to not strike out in consecutive games for the first time this year. Muncy has punched out multiple times in 11-of-16 games to begin the year and holds a strikeout rate of 37 percent, as he looks to level out that number as the season progresses.

Brujan suffered a right knee injury in Sunday's 9-7 loss to Atlanta, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Brujan was replaced at shortstop by Tim Anderson in the top of the seventh frame after suffering an apparent knee injury in the series finale with Atlanta. Brujan is considered day-to-day ahead of the start of a three-game series at home with the Giants beginning Monday.

Wade will not start Sunday against the Dodgers.

Wade has taken the bulk of starts at the third base this season, but he won't start Sunday as Eguy Rosario takes the field. The 30-year-old Wade went 4-for-8 to begin the year but has gone 4-for-27 across his past 12 games.

Suarez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

The Diamondbacks haven't indicated that Suarez is nursing any sort of injury in the aftermath of Saturday's 4-2 win, so the veteran third baseman is likely just getting a maintenance day. Jace Peterson will step in at the hot corner while Suarez rests for the first time in 2024 after starting at third base in each of Arizona's first 15 games while hitting .259 with two home runs and 12 RBI.

Baty is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.

With a tough lefty (Cole Ragans) on the bump for Kansas City, the lefty-hitting Baty will give way to Zack Short at third base. Baty will rest for the first time since March 30 after he saw his seven-game hit streak come to an end with an 0-for-4 showing in Saturday's 11-7 loss.
