Graham Pauley 3B | MIA
Marlins' Graham Pauley: Back in big leagues
The Marlins recalled Pauley from Triple-A Jacksonville on Friday, Isaac Azout of FishOnFirst.com reports.
Pauley was just sent down Thursday but returns to take the roster spot of the injured Derek Hill (wrist). With Connor Norby back in action at third base, Pauley's playing time with the Marlins will likely be limited.

Connor Norby 1B | MIA
Marlins' Connor Norby: One hit, two Ks in season debut
Norby went 1-for-5 in Thursday's loss to the Diamondbacks.
Seeing his first MLB game action of the year after beginning the season on the IL due to an oblique strain, Norby struck out twice but did bang a single into left field in the sixth inning. The 24-year-old third baseman hit second Thursday against southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez, and he's likely to have a prominent spot in the order against right-handers as well as the Marlins search for offense. Norby slashed .247/.315/.445 with seven homers over 36 games for Miami last season after being acquired from Baltimore.

Mark Vientos 1B | NYM
Mets' Mark Vientos: Goes yard for first time in 2025
Vientos went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's win over the Cardinals.
It was a much-needed first homer of the year for Vientos, who took Cardinals right-hander Andre Pallante yard to open the scoring Thursday in the second inning. Vientos is slashing a dismal .152/.253/.258 with four doubles, five RBI and six runs scored through 66 at-bats (18 games), but fantasy managers should try to stay patient with the slugging corner infielder. As long as Vientos is hitting in the heart of New York's star-studded lineup, he should see plenty of RBI opportunities going forward.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Reds' Jeimer Candelario: Starts at first base
Candelario started at first base and went 0-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in Thursday's 11-7 loss to the Mariners.
Candelario, who has one hit in his last 32 at-bats and is batting .117 this year, has managed to get regular opportunities all season thanks to infield injuries, with his 60 at-bats ranking fourth on the team. Just as the Reds got healthy and it looked like Candelario would lose playing time, the team placed first baseman Christian Encarnacion-Strand (back) on the 10-day injured list Thursday. With Spencer Steer's shoulder limiting him to designated hitter, Candelario could be the primary first baseman while Encarnacion-Strand is out.

Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Giants' Matt Chapman: Homer, three RBI in win
Chapman went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and three total RBI in Thursday's 6-4 loss to the Phillies.
Chapman was the lone Giant to have any luck against Cristopher Sanchez in the defeat -- the third baseman got San Francisco on the board with a two-out RBI single in the first inning before cutting the deficit to 5-3 with a homer in the sixth, his third this season. Following an 0-for-22 stretch, Chapman has gone 7-for-16 (.438) in his last four contests. He's now batting .239 with an .804 OPS, 12 RBI, 11 runs scored and two stolen bases through 83 plate appearances this season.

Oliver Dunn 3B | TB
Brewers' Oliver Dunn: Sent down to minors
The Brewers optioned Dunn to Triple-A Nashville on Thursday.
Dunn has started at third base all 11 times the Brewers have faced a right-handed pitcher this season, but he'll head back to the minors after slashing just .167/.205/.222 across 41 plate appearances. The Brewers have not announced a corresponding roster move, but they could recall Caleb Durbin from Nashville to take over as their primary option at the hot corner.

Graham Pauley 3B | MIA
Marlins' Graham Pauley: Heading back to Triple-A
Miami optioned Pauley to Triple-A Jacksonville on Thursday.
The Marlins had optioned Pauley to Triple-A on March 16, but he ended up being recalled just over a week later and was included on the Opening Day roster after Connor Norby suffered an oblique strain in the team's second-to-last spring training game and was placed on the injured list. Pauley had served as Miami's primary third baseman against right-handed pitching over the first three weeks of the season but didn't do much with the opportunity, slashing .191/.235/.277 over 52 plate appearances. With Norby completing a rehab assignment and returning from the IL on Thursday, Pauley will now head to Jacksonville, where he'll get the chance to play on an everyday basis.

Noelvi Marte RF | CIN
Reds' Noelvi Marte: Back in big leagues
The Reds recalled Marte from Triple-A Louisville on Thursday.
Marte was just sent down Tuesday but has returned to take the roster spot vacated by Christian Encarnacion-Strand (back), who was placed on the 10-day injured list. The 23-year-old didn't play much in his previous brief stint with the Reds and might not this time around, either, although there should be some reps at third base up for grabs while Jeimer Candelario shifts over to first base to cover for Encarnacion-Strand.

Connor Norby 1B | MIA
Marlins' Connor Norby: Batting second in return from IL
The Marlins reinstated Norby (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Thursday. He'll start at third base and bat second in the Marlins' series finale versus the Diamondbacks.
Graham Pauley was optioned to Triple-A Jacksonville in a corresponding move, clearing the way for Norby to step back in as Miami's primary third baseman. The 24-year-old had been on track to open the season as an everyday player for the Marlins before he strained his left oblique in the Marlins' penultimate spring training game. After a few weeks of rest and rehab, Norby was cleared to head out on a rehab assignment last weekend, and he went 4-for-8 with a solo home run and a pair of walks over three games with Jacksonville. Now healthy, Norby will likely continue to maintain a prominent spot in the Miami lineup against both right- and left-handed pitching.
