Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Reaches base four times
Bregman went 2-for-3 with two walks, a double and two RBI on Saturday against the Athletics.
Bregman continues to heat up at the plate. Over his past 10 games, he has recorded six multi-hit games and has raised his batting average from .214 to .267 as a result. Though his counting stats have yet to follow, his increased productivity at the plate bodes well for his numbers moving forward.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Mariners' Jean Segura: Fills box score against Cleveland
Segura went 3-for-4 with a home run, stolen base, four RBI and three runs scored Saturday against the Indians.
Segura was productive across all parts of the box score Saturday, a common occurrence for him throughout the early portion of the season. He has taken advantage of consistently batting second, a beneficial position that should only help his counting stats as the middle of the Mariners' lineup heats up. Though his hot start has not translated to many home runs, his 12 extra-base hits indicate that he is hitting the ball well and is a positive sign for his future production.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Rays' Matt Duffy: Singles in return from DL
Duffy (hamstring) hit out of the leadoff spot and went 1-for-5 with two strikeouts in a win over the Red Sox on Friday.
The versatile infielder returned to action following his 10-day disabled list stint and hit safely for the fifth straight game in the process. Duffy had gotten off to a solid start at the plate before the injury, a pace he'll look to maintain now that the oft-injured 27-year-old appears to be back to full health.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Wearing wrist guard on bases
Candelario will wear a wrist guard when he's on base to protect himself when he slides, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.
Candelario rested Thursday with a sore left wrist, and the team believes his discomfort could be coming from his sliding technique, in which he puts down his left hand and wrist to brace himself. He returned to the lineup Friday and wore the brace when he reached base in the first inning. Candelario is slashing a strong .281/.355/.531 through 24 games.

Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Athletics' Matt Chapman: Hits sixth homer Friday
Chapman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Friday's win over the Astros.
Chapman opened the scoring against Dallas Keuchel with a home run in the fifth inning. He doubled off Keuchel in his next at-bat, coming around to score on a Matt Olson single. Chapman is now hitting .278 with six home runs and 15 RBI. His 21 runs scored leads all MLB third basemen, and his .932 OPS is good for fourth at the position.

Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW
Royals' Mike Moustakas: Hits eighth homer of season
Moustakas went 2-for-6 with a solo home run and two runs in the Royals' 7-4 loss to the White Sox on Friday.
Moustakas kept rolling with his first-inning blast off Reynaldo Lopez, bringing his slash line up to .311/.336/.621 with eight home runs on the season. So far he's picked up right where he left off following last year's career-best campaign that saw him launch 38 home runs and put up a .835 OPS.
-
Pedro Alvarez 3B | MIA
Orioles' Pedro Alvarez: Swats two homers Friday
Alvarez went 2-for-3 with two home runs and three RBI in Friday's 6-0 win over the Tigers.
Alvarez had been slumping hard heading into Friday's game, with only two hits and two walks in his last 29 plate appearances, so perhaps he was due for a breakout performance. The home runs bring the 31-year-old's season total to four and his RBI total to 10, and he is slashing .218/.338/.473 in 55 at-bats.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Blue Jays' Josh Donaldson: Begins rehab assignment Saturday
Donaldson (shoulder) will begin his rehab assignment Saturday, serving as designated hitter for High-A Dunedin, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports.
Donaldson threw the ball around the infield earlier Friday, clearing the final hurdle to begin his rehab assignment. The 31-year-old has been on the disabled list since April 11 with shoulder inflammation, and it's unclear how long of a rehab assignment he is expected to require.

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Orioles' Manny Machado: Smacks another home run Friday
Machado went 2-for-3 with a home run, a run scored, a walk and two RBI in Friday's 6-0 victory over the Tigers.
Machado wasted little time Friday as he took Tigers' starter Mike Fiers deep in the first inning for his ninth home run of the season. The 25-year-old is 13-for-30 with five home runs over the last eight games, and is slashing an impressive .356/.440/.693 on the season.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Blue Jays' Josh Donaldson: Clears final hurdle before rehab assignment
Donaldson (shoulder) threw between bases Friday, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
This was the final hurdle to overcome before a rehab assignment. Manager John Gibbons said that it's unclear when Donaldson will rehab with an affiliate, but it appears that the star third baseman is very close to a return to the active roster.
