Rafael Devers 1B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Fighting through slump
Devers went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Orioles.
Devers has been scuffling of late, hitting just .160/.192/.280 with three RBI over his last 14 games. He had been a consistent run producer early on when he knocked in 23 runs over the first 31 games and was at or near the top of the team in RBI. When Dustin Pedroia (knee) returns to active duty, the Red Sox could give Devers, who has played in 45 of the team's 46 games, more days off with Eduardo Nunez moving from second to third base. With some periodic rest and extra work in batting practice, the 21-year-old's bat could perk up again.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Mariners' Jean Segura: Homers Saturday
Segura went 2-for-4 with a home run, triple, three RBI and one run scored Saturday against the Tigers.
Segura connected on his third home run of the season in the first inning off Mike Fiers. He tripled in his next at-bat to record his seventh multi-hit game in his past 10 starts. The home run was his first since April 28, but he has been a strong producer otherwise, ranking among the American League leaders in batting average, runs scored, RBI and stolen bases.

Pedro Alvarez 3B | MIA
Orioles' Pedro Alvarez: Swats eighth homer Saturday
Alvarez got the start at DH and went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Red Sox.
His playing time has mostly dried up since Mark Trumbo returned from the disabled list, but with Trumbo in right field Saturday, Alvarez got his second start in the last eight games and made the most of the opportunity. The 31-year-old now has eight homers on the season, but the power comes with a less impressive .198/.303/.500 slash line.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Homers in loss
Bregman went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Indians.
Bregman notched his fourth home run of the season in the eighth inning off reliever Neil Ramirez, bringing the Astros within two. His bat has become more potent over the last two weeks, as he's hit safely in 14 of the last 16 games with nine of his 16 hits going for extra bases.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Rays' Matt Duffy: Back in action Saturday
Duffy (hamstring) is back in the lineup Saturday against the Angels.
Duffy left Tuesday's game against the Royals with hamstring tightness and had yet to return to action. He was aiming to return Friday but ended up needing one extra day. He'll bat third and play third base Saturday.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Mariners' Jean Segura: Another multi-hit tally Friday
Segura went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in a win over the Tigers on Friday.
The hot-hitting shortstop's seventh-inning single drew the Mariners even at 4-4 after they'd opened the inning with a four-run deficit. As impressive as Segura's April was (.311/.339/.472), he's outdoing himself to an extent in May, as his monthly average now sits at .333 following his eighth multi-hit effort over the last 16 games. The sole blemish is that he's yet to go deep since the calendar flipped to May, but he sports an impressive 29 RBI on the season, second only to Mitch Haniger on the team.

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Orioles' Manny Machado: Keeps raking Friday
Machado went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI in Friday's 7-4 win over the Red Sox.
He continues to crush the ball, going 14-for-40 (.350) over his last 10 games with five homers, 15 RBI and nine runs. Machado's .347/.423/.671 slash line on the season would establish new career highs in all three categories, and by a considerable margin, if he's able to keep it up.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Rays' Matt Duffy: Remains out Friday
Duffy (hamstring) is not in the lineup against the Angels on Friday, Marc Topkin of The Tampa Bay Times reports.
Duffy will remain on the bench for a third straight game after suffering a hamstring injury during Tuesday's contest. In his place, Christian Arroyo will start at third base and bat eighth in the order. However, Duffy was able to take run the bases and take batting practice before Friday's game, Jay Paris of MLB.com reports. He could return to the lineup Saturday at either third base or designated hitter.
-
Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Athletics' Matt Chapman: Not in Friday's lineup
Chapman is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Blue Jays, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Chapman has started at third base every game so far this season, but has struggled at the plate in May, despite going 3-for-4 with a two-run home run Thursday. The 25-year-old has a .196/.297/.339 line with 22 strikeouts in 64 plate appearances this month, as the Athletics will start Chad Pinder at third base in his absence Friday.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Records three hits
Moncada went 3-for-4 with a double and run scored Thursday against the Rangers.
Moncada recorded his first extra-base hit in three games since returning from the disabled list. He is 4-for-12 in that span and has shown no signs of his hamstring injury slowing him down with the bat. It remains to be seen just how much he'll run for the remainder of the season, but his health presents no red flags for the time being.
