Duffy went 4-for-4 with three RBI from a pair of run-scoring singles and also drew a walk in a win over the Padres on Monday.

Duffy's perfect night at the plate pushed his average to .298 and served as his second multi-hit effort over the last three games. The veteran infielder is making good use of his opportunities after enduring another extended battle with nagging injuries, and with Yandy Diaz (foot) projected out for the remainder of the season, Duffy's playing time at third base should be locked in.

Urshela went 6-for-9 with a home run, a double and two RBI while crossing the plate four times in a pair of victories over Baltimore on Monday.

Urshela collected a pair of three-hit games in the doubleheader and has now racked up nine multi-hit performances during his current 15-game on-base streak. He has been on an otherworldly tear in August, slashing .476/.522/1.071 with seven homers, 14 RBI and 15 runs scored in 11 games. Needless to say, the 27-year-old has been one of the most pleasant surprises in baseball this season after hitting only .225 in 466 career at-bats prior to 2019.

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and a double in Monday's 6-5 win over Boston.

Ramirez gave Cleveland a 5-1 lead with his three-run homer in the third frame. He's up to 17 on the year with 12 coming since the start of July. The 26-year-old switch-hitter has improved his OPS from .634 to a respectable .767 during that span.

LeMahieu is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Monday's doubleheader against the Orioles, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

He is hitting .327/.380/.561 with six home runs in 25 games since the All-Star break. The Yankees' remarkable infield depth, even when they are not at full strength, will result in LeMahieu getting a day off here and there. Breyvic Valera will start at second base while Gleyber Torres starts at designated hitter.

Peterson went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a triple, two RBI and two runs scored Sunday against the Astros.

Peterson drove in a run in the first inning with a double to right field, and he ended his day with an RBI triple to center. The 29-year-old has pieced together a .254/.274/.424 slash line with two homers and 10 RBI over 16 games.

Duffy is not in Sunday's lineup against the Mariners, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

He is hitting .245/.310/.345 with zero home runs and zero steals in 53 at-bats this season. Mike Brosseau will start at third base and hit sixth.

Urshela went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer in Saturday's loss to Toronto.

Urshela slugged a 424-foot blast to center field in the sixth inning to notch his sixth home run in his last five games. Since the start of July, the 27-year-old is hitting .356 with 11 homers and 23 RBI in 101 at-bats. Over that span, he has collected 36 hits, 23 of which have gone for extra bases.

Bregman went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a home run, three runs scored and three RBI in Saturday's 23-2 win at Baltimore.

Bregman had only the three plate appearances since he made an early exit with the Astros holding a huge lead, yet he still made significant contributions Saturday. The 25-year-old has a .322/.444/.621 slash line with five homers in 25 games since the All-Star break.

Candelario (thumb) is set to receive a CT scan, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

The Tigers are expecting Candelario to be out for an extended time but would like clarification on the injury due to the soreness he continues to experience. Officially placed on the injured list Tuesday, there is no timetable for Candelario's return.

Chapman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in a win over the White Sox on Friday.

Chapman's 359-foot shot in the first inning gave the Athletics a quick lead and snapped an 0-for-16 skid that had encompassed his prior five games. The slugging third baseman only has three round trippers in the second half of the season, with two of those having come since the calendar flipped to August. Chapman's multi-hit effort was also his first since July 21, a testament to the extent of his recent struggles at the plate.
