  • Nick Madrigal 3B | LAA

White Sox's Nick Madrigal: Comes out hitting off IL

Madrigal went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Royals.

Madrigal is on fire coming off the injured list with a shoulder injury, having gone 5-for-8 with two RBI, two runs and a stolen base across the two games since being activated. While the steal was just his first, Madrigal was a threat in 2019 when he stole 35 bases at three different minor-league stops.

  • Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Blasts pair of homers

Devers went 4-for-4 with two home runs, two singles, three RBI, three runs scored and one walk in Sunday's 9-5 win over the Nationals.

Devers extended Boston's lead to 5-0 with his two-run shot off Austin Voth in the second. He ended up reaching base in each of his five plate appearances, capping his day with another long ball in the eighth inning. The third baseman's big day at the plate has him up to six homers and a .240/.290/.457 slash line on the campaign.

  • Gio Urshela 3B | MIN

Yankees' Gio Urshela: Returns as expected for Game 2

Urshela (elbow) is starting at third base and batting fifth in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Mets.

Urshela didn't start Game 1 but came off the bench and went 1-for-3 with a walkoff RBI single. The fact he's still starting the nightcap after seeing significant time during the matinee bodes well for his status going forward.

  • Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA

White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Likely to return Monday

Manager Rick Renteria suggested that Moncada (upper leg) may return to the lineup in Monday's series opener versus the Twins, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Moncada was out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals, though Renteria indicated that the 25-year-old would be available off the bench. In any case, the left leg injury that Moncada aggravated Saturday doesn't look to be a major concern, though fantasy managers may still want to confirm that he's in the lineup Monday before deploying him in weekly leagues.

  • Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Slugs home run Sunday

Candelario went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Twins.

Candelario took Kenta Maeda deep in the fourth inning for his fourth home run of the season. The Detroit first baseman is 8-for-17 with two home runs across his last five games and now has an .866 OPS this year, making his slow start to the 2020 campaign look like a distant memory.

  • Tyler Nevin 3B | ATH

Orioles' Tyler Nevin: Sent to Baltimore for Givens

Nevin, Terrin Vavra and a player to be named later were traded from the Orioles to the Rockies in exchange for Mychal Givens on Sunday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Nevin has been at the Rockies' alternate training site this season and will now be joining a new organization. The 23-year-old spent the 2019 campaign at the Double-A level and slashed .251/.345/.399 with 13 homers and six stolen bases in 130 games.

  • Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA

White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Not playing Sunday

Moncada (upper leg) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.

Danny Mendick will step in at third base for Moncada, who was removed from Saturday's 9-6 loss with the upper-leg injury. Moncada has been playing through the injury for a few weeks, but the White Sox are seemingly viewing him as day-to-day, hoping that a day off or two will help resolve the matter.

  • Gio Urshela 3B | MIN

Yankees' Gio Urshela: Out again for Game 1

Urshela (elbow) is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Mets.

The 28-year-old hasn't seen game action since Wednesday's doubleheader as he continues to deal with a bone spur in his elbow. According to James Wagner of The New York Times, manager Aaron Boone said Urshela is expected to be back in the lineup for Sunday's nightcap.

  • Nick Madrigal 3B | LAA

White Sox's Nick Madrigal: Returns to lineup

Madrigal went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 9-6 loss to Kansas City.

Madrigal was activated from the injured list Friday but did not play in that night's game. He's expected to the be the primary second baseman moving forward, but the White Sox got quality work out of Danny Mendick as a fill-in, so manager Rick Renteria would not be shy about pulling Madrigal if he struggles at the dish.

  • Matt Chapman 3B | SF

Athletics' Matt Chapman: Blasts 10th homer

Chapman went a combined 3-for-6 with a home run and three RBI in Saturday's doubleheader against Houston.

Chapman knocked in both Oakland runs in the matinee and drove in another with a solo shot in the nightcap. The third baseman has 10 homers and 25 RBI on the season while slashing .252/.298/.580.
