Josh Jung 3B | TEX
Rangers' Josh Jung: Progressing toward return
Jung (foot) has been running the bases and is about 10-14 days from joining an affiliate, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.
It's unclear if Jung will join Triple-A Round Rock, where he was expected to start 2021 before suffering the stress fracture in March, or a lower-level affiliate. It is safe to assume, however, that the Rangers will exercise caution with one of their top prospects.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Angels' Anthony Rendon: Breaks prolonged slump
Rendon went 3-for-5 with a double and five RBI in Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Giants.
Rendon remains without a home run in his 19 games since returning from the injured list May 14, but the veteran third baseman at least stepped up as a run producer in the Angels' resounding win. The five RBI exceeded his combined total (three) from the aforementioned 19-game period, which illustrates Rendon's prolonged slump at plate of late, as well as the Angels' collective struggles as an offense. The Halos will likely remain one of baseball's weaker lineups so long as Mike Trout (calf) is on the shelf, but Rendon still looks like a decent buy-low candidate, given that he's currently sitting on a career-low .257 BABIP, along with the fact that his strikeout rate (16.8 percent) isn't up dramatically from past seasons.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Indians' Jose Ramirez: Starting Wednesday
Ramirez (illness) is starting Wednesday's game against the White Sox.
Ramirez was removed from Tuesday's loss as a precautionary measure due to dehydration, but he'll serve as the designated hitter in Wednesday's series finale. Prior to leaving Tuesday's game, Ramirez went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a run and an RBI.

Rafael Devers 1B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Weakness exploited in Houston
Devers went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Astros.
Houston pitchers have thrown Devers nothing but fastballs (35) during the first two games of their series, per Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com, and he is hitless in seven at-bats with five strikeouts. As it turns out, the third baseman has struggled against fastballs this season, going 17-for-107 (.159) while whiffing 39.6 percent of the time. He can hit mistakes, so he can catch up to the heat, but well-located fastballs have been troublesome. Red Sox hitting coaches noticed the trend during the most recent homestand and put a plan in place, but thus far Devers' updated approach to fastballs has not paid off.

Tyler Nevin 3B | ATH
Orioles' Tyler Nevin: Returns to Triple-A
Nevin was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk after Tuesday's win over the Twins, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
The 24-year-old was promoted Friday and went 1-for-5 with a walk and two strikeouts in two games during his first stint in the majors. Nevin could rejoin the Orioles later in the season if the team needs corner-infield depth.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Indians' Jose Ramirez: Leaves with dehydration
Ramirez was removed from Tuesday's loss to the White Sox as a precaution due to dehydration, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.
The 28-year-old went 2-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored before being pulled in the top of the eighth inning. Ramirez should be available for Wednesday's series finale, though he could receive the day off ahead of Thursday's scheduled off day if Cleveland is feeling extra cautious.

Taylor Walls SS | TB
Rays' Taylor Walls: On bench Tuesday
Walls is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Joey Wendle steps in at shortstop for Walls, who finds himself on the bench for the second time in four games. The rookie has gotten off to a modest start to his big-league career, batting .200 with two extra-base hits (both doubles), five runs and two RBI through his first nine games.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Indians' Jose Ramirez: Swats 13th homer
Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer in the second game of Monday's doubleheader against the White Sox.
Ramirez took Jimmy Lambert deep to right in the third inning to give Cleveland a 3-1 lead. It was his 13th long ball of the season as he's slashing .253/.343/.527 with 30 RBI, 36 runs scored, six stolen bases and a 24:28 BB:K through 53 games. The home run was Ramirez's first since May 18.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Battles hitting funk
Bregman went 1-for-3 with a walk, two RBI and two runs scored in Monday's 11-2 win over Boston.
Bregman delivered two runs with a single in the sixth inning that increased Houston's lead to 8-1. He's managed to drive in four runs over a five-game stretch during which he has just two hits in 18 at-bats (.111).

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Twins' Josh Donaldson: Churns out three hits in win
Donaldson went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and a walk Monday in the Twins' 3-2 win over the Orioles in 10 innings.
Donaldson hasn't left the yard since May 17, but he's at least tapping into some more gap power of late. He now has accrued three doubles over his last two games, bringing his season-long total up to 10 through 168 plate appearances.
