Jung went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 10-6 loss to Miami in the second game of Monday's doubleheader.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Angels' Anthony Rendon: Gearing up for late-season return
Rendon (wrist) took batting practice Monday and continues to target a return from the 60-day injured list before the end of the season, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Rendon was presumed to be shut down for the 2022 campaign when he underwent surgery June 21 to address a right wrist injury, but the 32-year-old has seemingly progressed far faster than anticipated. Even though the Angels have little at stake as the season winds down, Rendon is eager to play in a few games to close out the year to give him peace of mind about his health heading into the long offseason. According to Fletcher, the Angels' tentative plan is to activate Rendon in late September, assuming he remains free of setbacks as he ramps up his baseball activities. Once reinstated, Rendon will have to serve a five-game suspension stemming from his involvement in a late-June benches-clearing brawl with the Mariners. He would then play in handful of games to close out the season, perhaps making him someone worthy of picking up later this month in deeper leagues where he's available.

Taylor Walls 3B | TB
Rays' Taylor Walls: Headed for utility role
Walls will start at shortstop and bat ninth in Monday's game against the Blue Jays, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Walls will stay in the lineup for the second game in a row, but he's expected to handle more of a utility role for Tampa Bay moving forward now that Wander Franco has returned from the 10-day injured list. However, after starting in all three games of the Rays' weekend series with the Yankees, Franco will get a breather Monday, paving the way for Walls to step in at shortstop. Walls played third base in Sunday's 10-4 loss to New York, going 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run.

Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN
Mariners' Eugenio Suarez: Goes deep twice
Suarez went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs and a walk in an 8-7 win against the Braves on Sunday.
Suarez walked in the first inning, swatted a solo home run in the fifth and blasted a walkoff solo shot in the ninth off Atlanta closer Kenley Jansen. The 31-year-old has been on a tear of late with five long balls in his last four contests while batting 6-for-17 during the stretch. Suarez has now hit the 30-homer benchmark in four of his last five seasons.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Slugs grand slam
Bregman went 1-for-3 with a grand slam and an additional run scored in Sunday's victory over the Angels.
After Mauricio Dubon led off the third inning with a homer, the Astros loaded the bases for Bregman, and he capitalized by launching a grand slam to right field. The round tripper was his first since Aug. 28 and his 21st on the season. The four RBI give Bregman 82 on the season, good for fifth among third basemen, and with two runs scored on the day, he has 84, which sits second among third basemen.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Gets breather Sunday
Moncada is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.
Moncada will get a breather for the first time since he returned to the lineup Tuesday following a stint on the 15-day injured list due to a hamstring strain. Josh Harrison will check in at third base in place of Moncada, who went 8-for-24 with two home runs, two walks, a double, five RBI and five runs in his first five games back in action.

Ryan Kreidler 3B | MIN
Tigers' Ryan Kreidler: Back in lineup Sunday
Kreidler is starting at third base and batting ninth in Sunday's game against the Royals.
Kreidler got Saturday's game off but will now be starting for the eighth time in the last nine contests. The Tigers are clearly wanting to take a look at the rookie, who is slashing .250/.321/.417 early in his career. Jeimer Candelario heads to the bench after starting at third Saturday.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Resting Sunday
Candelario is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.
Candelario gets Sunday off after starting at the hot corner Saturday, with Ryan Kreidler taking over. The rookie Kreidler is seeing more playing time as the 54-85 Tigers look toward the future, so Candelario's fantasy value will likely take a hit down the stretch as he sees his playing time reduced.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Hopes to return for next homestand
LeMahieu (toe) hopes to return to action during the Yankees' homestand that begins Sept. 20, Brendan Kuty of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
LeMahieu landed on the injured list Thursday, and it appears he will miss more than the minimum 10 days. However, he might not be out much beyond that. Gleyber Torres will likely remain the Yankees' primary second baseman until LeMahieu is ready to return.

Gunnar Henderson 3B | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Gets day off
Henderson is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox, according to Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun.
Henderson tallied three hits over his last two games, but manager Brandon Hyde decided it was time for his first day off as a big-leaguer. Jesus Aguilar will join the lineup with Henderson opening the game on the bench.
