Tigers' Tyler Nevin: Moves to Triple-A
The Tigers optioned Nevin to Triple-A Toledo on Saturday.
Zach Short will remain on the active roster after being called up from Toledo to serve as the 27th man for Detroit's doubleheader against the Orioles on Saturday. In 27 plate appearances with the big club this season, Nevin slashed .091/.222/.227.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Logs fifth steal Friday
Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 5-2 win over the Red Sox.
Ramirez went 14 games without a steal after logging four thefts in his first 11 contests this season. The third baseman has a solid .273/.362/.475 slash line with three home runs, five steals, 16 RBI, 13 runs scored, nine doubles and a triple through 26 games in his usual everyday role.

Jake Burger 3B | TEX
White Sox's Jake Burger: Mashes seventh homer
Burger went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Rays.
His second-inning shot off Zach Eflin proved to be the last gasp of offense Chicago could manage off Tampa Bay pitching. Burger has a clear path to regular playing time at third base with Yoan Moncada (back) not expected to return for at least a few more weeks, and the 27-year-old has earned it by slashing .259/.349/.722 through 63 plate appearances with four doubles, seven homers and 13 RBI.

Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Rays' Isaac Paredes: Plays hero in Friday's win
Paredes went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a solo home run and a second run scored in Friday's 3-2 win over the White Sox.
After raking Lucas Giolito for a pair of two-baggers earlier in the game, Paredes played hero in the top of the ninth inning by crushing a 1-0 pitch from Kendall Graveman deep to left field. Paredes has three multi-hit performances in his last four games, and the streaky 24-year-old sports a .253/.326/.446 slash line through 92 plate appearances with four homers, 15 runs and 18 RBI. Few Tampa Bay position players have true everyday roles, but Paredes' work both at the plate and in the field has allowed him to start 21 of the Rays' 27 games to date.

Jose Miranda 3B | MIN
Twins' Jose Miranda: Hits third home run
Miranda went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo home run and an additional run scored in Friday's victory over Kansas City.
After slashing just .226/.287/.247 through the first 24 games of the season, Miranda has hit three home runs in his last three contests. The slow start didn't impact his job security as he's played in every game for the Twins, with 22 starts at third base and two at designated hitter.

Josh Jung 3B | TEX
Rangers' Josh Jung: Returns to lineup
Jung (hand) is back in the Rangers' lineup for Friday's game versus the Yankees.
A hit-by-pitch on the left hand forced Jung from Wednesday's game against the Reds and he sat out on Thursday, but he's feeling well enough to give it a go in this one. Jung will be at third base and batting fifth versus Clarke Schmidt.

Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Batting cleanup Friday
Devers has moved down to the cleanup spot for the Red Sox in Friday's game versus the Guardians, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.
He's batted second almost exclusively this season when both he and Masataka Yoshida are in the lineup, but the two will flip-flop Friday as Yoshida moves to the two-hole and Devers hits fourth. A .238 batting average and .282 on-base percentage for Devers thus far have been disappointing, but he's leading the American League with nine home runs.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Aiming for May rehab assignment
Lewis (knee) has been playing in Florida Complex League games and the hope is he can begin an official rehab assignment in May, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
Lewis has been playing both shortstop and third base as he eases back into game action following right ACL surgery last June. It's not clear when exactly in May he's poised to start a rehab assignment, but he would figure to need the full allotment of games. There wouldn't currently seem to be an opening for a full-time job on the Twins right now for Lewis, but he's certainly capable of being a big factor should the need arise.

Josh Jung 3B | TEX
Rangers' Josh Jung: Expected back Friday
Jung (hand) is expected to return Friday against the Yankees.
Jung, who was removed from Wednesday's game after getting hit on the left hand, was held out of Thursday's game. Ezequiel Duran filled in for him at third base. Jung took pre-game batting practice Thursday while wearing a padded guard over the hand.
