Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Not in lineup Monday
Henderson is out of the lineup for Monday's game versus the Rays.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Might not return until this weekend
Moncada (back) could remain on his rehab assignment at Triple-A Charlotte a bit longer, with a return from the 10-day injured list coming perhaps this weekend for the beginning of the White Sox's homestand, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Manager Pedro Grifol said Sunday that he wouldn't rule out Moncada being activated ahead of Monday's series opener in Kansas City, but all signs point to the third baseman continuing his rehab assignment a little while longer. Moncada has gone 5-for-9 with a home run in his first three rehab games, so his bat looks ready. However, the White Sox want to make sure the back injury that has kept him out since mid-April is behind him.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Angels' Anthony Rendon: Drives in four in loss
Rendon went 2-for-3 with a home run, two walks and four RBI in Sunday's 16-8 loss to the Rangers.
Rendon sat out Saturday's game with a sore thumb. It wasn't holding him back Sunday, as he opened the scoring with a three-run homer and added an RBI single in the third. The third baseman has logged multiple hits in six of his last 11 games. The long ball was his first of the season, and he's now slashing .291/.418/.360 with 18 RBI, 16 runs scored and two stolen bases through 25 contests.

Kyle Farmer 3B | ATL
Twins' Kyle Farmer: Could be activated Tuesday
Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said Sunday that Farmer (mouth) is "really close" to being activated from the 10-day injured list, with the transaction expected to come as soon as Tuesday, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Farmer is out of the lineup for Triple-A St. Paul on Sunday after going 3-for-11 with two doubles and a walk through the first three games of his rehab assignment. He's scheduled to undergo a procedure Monday to get some wires removed from his mouth, but assuming all goes well, Farmer could be cleared to resume game action with the big club. Once he's reinstated, Farmer will likely serve as a utility infielder for Minnesota.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Beginning rehab assignment Thursday
Lewis (knee) is scheduled to open a minor-league rehab assignment at Double-A Wichita on Thursday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
Lewis is gearing up for a return from June 21, 2022 surgery to repair a torn ACL in his right knee, and though he appears poised to beat the 12-to-13-month recovery timeline the Twins initially offered for him to make his 2023 debut, he's still expected to be on track for a lengthy rehab. According to Park, the Twins are planning to have Lewis focus primarily on playing shortstop and third base during his upcoming rehab assignment, which will likely be moved to Triple-A St. Paul at some point and should last close to the maximum allotment of 20 days. The 23-year-old flashed an impressive five-tool skill set during his brief taste of the majors last season and should be a mainstay in the Minnesota lineup down the road, though he could be eased back in as a utility player in 2023 coming off major knee surgery.

Jake Burger 3B | TEX
White Sox's Jake Burger: Hoping for abbreviated IL stint
Burger (oblique) said Sunday that he's been able to resume running without discomfort and plans to take part in light fielding drills beginning Monday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Specifically, Burger said he'll field groundballs hit directly at him, as the White Sox aren't yet ready to have him take part in change-of-direction work after he was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a left oblique strain. While the White Sox haven't revealed the severity of the oblique strain, the fact that Burger is already resuming baseball activities suggests that he's dealing with a Grade 1 or mild-to-moderate strain. Burger said that is he responds well to running and fielding over the next couple days, he could advance to swinging the bat at some point later in the week. The 27-year-old appears destined to miss more than the minimum 10 days, but he currently looks on pace for a return before the end of the month.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Could be activated Monday
White Sox manager Pedro Grifol said that he hasn't ruled out the possibility of Moncada (back) being activated from the 10-day injured list prior to Monday's game in Kansas City, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. "[Monday is] pretty soon [for a return], but we have to communicate with him after [Sunday's] game to see how he feels," Grifol said of Moncada.
Moncada has been on the shelf since April 14 due to a disc issue, but the 27-year-old was cleared to begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Charlotte earlier this weekend and has gone 2-for-6 with a walk and an RBI through his first two contests with the affiliate. Though Grifol's comments suggest that it's more likely that the team will wait until later in the upcoming week to activate Moncada, the White Sox could expedite the infielder's return if he checks out fine after playing seven innings in the field for Charlotte on Sunday. Until the White Sox formally reinstate Moncada, Hanser Alberto should serve as the team's primary option at third base.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Angels' Anthony Rendon: Back in action Sunday
Rendon (thumb) will start at third base and bat cleanup in Sunday's game against the Rangers, Sarah Valenzuela of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Rendon will return to the fray after he sat out Saturday's 10-1 loss with a sore thumb, which he suffered during a collision with teammate Matt Thaiss in Friday's 5-4 win. With Rendon back in the fold, Gio Urshela will shift from third base to shortstop for the series finale.

Nick Maton DH | CHW
Tigers' Nick Maton: Out against lefty
Maton is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
For the second time in the series, the lefty-hitting Maton will retreat to the bench while the Cardinals bring a southpaw (Steven Matz) to the hill. Andy Ibanez will spell Maton at third base and will bat fifth.

Jace Peterson SS | ARI
Athletics' Jace Peterson: Sits for series finale
Peterson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.
The lefty-hitting Peterson will see his streak of eight consecutive starts come to an end while the Royals bring a southpaw (Ryan Yarbrough) to the hill for the series finale. Kevin Smith will replace Peterson at third base and will bat eighth.
