Rays' Junior Caminero: Goes deep in loss
Caminero went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's 12-5 loss to the Royals.
Caminero drove in runs on three separate occasions, highlighted by a solo homer in the eighth inning. The 22-year-old has enjoyed a solid June, hitting .289 with three home runs, nine RBI and 11 runs scored through 20 games this month. For the season, he's slashing .281/.372/.490 with 16 long balls, 37 RBI and 45 runs scored across 333 plate appearances.

Blaze Alexander 3B | BAL
Orioles' Blaze Alexander: Sidelined Tuesday
Alexander (knee) is not in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Angels, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Alexander was forced to exit Monday's contest against the Angels early with a right knee contusion, and he will now miss at least one additional game as a result. Coby Mayo will draw the start at third base, batting fifth versus Los Angeles.

Denzer Guzman 3B | LAA
Angels' Denzer Guzman: On bench Tuesday
Guzman isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against Baltimore, Taylor Blake Ward of TheSportingTribune.com reports.
Guzman will take a seat Tuesday after going 0-for-3 with a walk during Monday's series opener. Vaughn Grissom will cover third base and bat second while Guzman rests.

Donovan Walton 2B | ATH
Angels' Donovan Walton: Taking seat Tuesday
Walton isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Orioles, Taylor Blake Ward of TheSportingTribune.com reports.
Walton has gone 13-for-27 with three homers, 10 RBI and four runs scored across his last seven starts, but the Angels will keep him on the bench to begin Tuesday's game. Oswald Peraza will start at second base and bat sixth.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Yankees' Ryan McMahon: Dealing with ear/throat infection
Manager Aaron Boone said that McMahon isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against Detroit due to an ear/throat infection, Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record reports.
Although McMahon will be in the dugout for the beginning of Tuesday's contest, Boone noted that there's a chance the 31-year-old could be available off the bench. Jose Caballero will get the nod at the hot corner and bat seventh while McMahon sits.

Josh Rojas 3B | KC
Royals' Josh Rojas: Back in majors
The Royals recalled Rojas from Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old was up with the Royals for a few days in early June and will now get another chance in the majors since Maikel Garcia (hand) was placed on the injured list. Nick Loftin has been operating as Kansas City's primary third baseman with Garcia banged up, while Rojas is likely to fill a utility role while up in the majors.

Maikel Garcia 3B | KC
Royals' Maikel Garcia: Out with hand injury
The Royals placed Garcia on the 10-day injured list Tuesday due to a left hand muscle strain.
The 26-year-old returned to the lineup the past two days after missing three games due to left hand soreness, but he apparently aggravated the injury and will now require a stint on the injured list. Garcia will be eligible to be reinstated in early July, though it's unclear how long he's expected to be sidelined. Nick Loftin has started the past five games at the hot corner -- Garcia filled in for Bobby Witt (knee) at shortstop Sunday and Monday -- and should continue to operate as Kansas City's primary third baseman while Garcia is on the shelf.

Leonardo Rivas 3B | SEA
Mariners' Leo Rivas: Hits shelf at Triple-A
Triple-A Tacoma placed Rivas on the 7-day injured list Wednesday due to an unspecified injury.
Since being demoted to Triple-A on May 18, Rivas slashed .154/.436/.154 over eight games with Tacoma before hitting the shelf. Once Rivas gets healthy, he could get another look with Seattle as a utility infielder later this summer.

Amed Rosario 3B | NYY
Yankees' Amed Rosario: Clubs homer Monday
Rosario went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in a loss to Detroit on Monday.
With Ryan McMahon getting the day off, Rosario started at third base and batted leadoff. He produced the bulk of New York's runs with a two-run blast in the seventh inning. Rosario has started at the hot corner three of the past four times the Yankees have faced a southpaw starter, so he seems to be in the short side of a platoon with McMahon at the moment.

Coby Mayo 3B | BAL
Orioles' Coby Mayo: Clubs 10th homer
Mayo went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Monday's 6-1 win over the Angels.
Mayo went deep in the fourth inning to put the Orioles up 4-0. The infielder has hit five homers over his last 18 games, but he doesn't have a multi-hit effort in that span. For the season, he's batting just .190 with a .636 OPS, 10 homers, 30 RBI, 27 runs scored, seven doubles and a stolen base over 62 contests. He was in the lineup for a fourth straight game, but he'll need to show some extended consistency at the plate to avoid slipping back into a timeshare once the Orioles get some key players back from injuries.
