Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Yankees' Ryan McMahon: Taking seat versus lefty
McMahon is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.
McMahon will exit the starting nine while the White Sox send southpaw Martin Perez to the hill. Amed Rosario will replace McMahon at third base.

Ernie Clement SS | TOR
Blue Jays' Ernie Clement: Rejoining lineup Sunday
Clement (finger/shin) will start at third base and bat sixth Sunday against the Brewers.
Clement was held out of the starting nine the past couple days due to a hairline finger fracture and a laceration to his left shin, but he's ready to rejoin the lineup for Sunday's series finale. The 29-year-old's average has dipped in August as he's batting .247 in 24 games, though he still has a .729 OPS this month thanks to four home runs.

Josh Jung 3B | TEX
Rangers' Josh Jung: Stays hot with three more hits
Jung went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 9-3 win over the Athletics.
Jung delivered RBI doubles in the third and seventh innings. The third baseman has rattled off three straight three-hit games, and he's batting .517 (15-for-29) during his seven-game hitting streak. He's up to a .257/.302/.395 slash line, 12 home runs, 51 RBI, 42 runs scored, 15 doubles and four stolen bases over 106 contests this season, and his recent strong play should keep him locked into a starting role.

Brett Harris 3B | ATH
Athletics' Brett Harris: Riding pine Saturday
Harris isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rangers.
Harris will miss a second consecutive start since going 2-for-3 with a walk and three runs scored during Wednesday's game against Detroit. Darell Hernaiz will get the nod at third base instead and bat eighth.

Zach McKinstry 3B | DET
Tigers' Zach McKinstry: Idle Saturday
McKinstry isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals.
McKinstry will sit down Saturday after making seven consecutive starts, going 7-for-24 with a homer, three RBI and four runs scored in the process. Trey Sweeney will take his place at shortstop and bat eighth.

Ernie Clement SS | TOR
Blue Jays' Ernie Clement: Still out Saturday
Clement (finger/shin) is not starting Saturday versus the Brewers.
Clement will begin on the bench for a second straight game while dealing with a hairline fracture in his left middle finger and a laceration to his left shin. At this point, the Blue Jays don't seem inclined to move Clement to the IL, and he's considered day-to-day. Addison Barger is starting at third base with Clement out Saturday.

Josh Jung 3B | TEX
Rangers' Josh Jung: Another three-hit effort
Jung went 3-for-4 with one run scored in Friday's 5-2 win over the Athletics.
Jung has hit safely in six straight games, and four of those have been multi-hit efforts. He's starting to turn things around after struggling for most of August -- even with the recent surge, he's batting a modest .268 (19-for-71) over 22 contests this month. On the season, he's at a .253/.299/.387 slash line with 12 home runs, 49 RBI, 40 runs scored and four stolen bases through 105 games.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Wallops ninth homer in win
Lewis went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in a 7-4 win over the Padres on Friday.
The homer was Lewis' ninth of the season and his fourth of the month. The oft-injured slugger is trying to end the season on a high note, and fantasy managers in need of pop in shallow leagues should give him a look. Over his last 11 outings (40 at-bats), Lewis is slashing .250/.318/.575 with five extra-base hits and nine RBI.

Miguel Vargas 2B | CHW
White Sox's Miguel Vargas: Moves to injured list
The White Sox placed Vargas on the 10-day injured list Friday due to a left hand sprain.
Vargas suffered the injury on a collision at first base Thursday while attempting to field an errant throw, and he'll be sidelined for at least the next 10 days. The severity of the injury isn't clear, and the 25-year-old will have only a few weeks to get healed up before his rest-of-season status is in question.
