  • Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Clubs homer Friday

Henderson went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 5-2 win over the Pirates.

Henderson went just 1-for-11 during the Orioles' three-game series versus the Royals, but he snapped out of the funk Friday. He swatted his second homer of the campaign in the third inning and also scored in the seventh after getting aboard on a single. The shortstop is hitting .269 with six RBI, six runs scored, two homers and a triple over 30 plate appearances. He has yet to hit anywhere but leadoff this season.

  • Colt Keith 3B | DET

Tigers' Colt Keith: Not in Friday's lineup

Keith is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Athletics.

Keith went 1-for-12 through the first four games of the season, but his bat came alive during Thursday's doubleheader against the Mets as he went 3-for-8 with a walk, a double, an RBI and two runs. Andy Ibanez will start at the keystone Friday against Oakland lefty JP Sears.

  • Yankees' Oswaldo Cabrera: Not in Friday's lineup

Cabrera is not in the lineup for Friday's contest versus the Blue Jays.

Toronto is sending left-hander Yusei Kikuchi to the mound, so the Yankees are going with Jon Berti at third base while the switch-hitting Cabrera begins this one on the bench. After going 7-for-13 in his first three games of the season, Cabrera is 2-for-13 over his last four contests.

  • Colt Keith 3B | DET

Tigers' Colt Keith: Records first MLB stolen base

Keith went 3-for-8 with a walk, a double, an RBI and two runs scored across both games of Thursday's doubleheader against the Mets. He also stole a base.

The double and the stolen base were both firsts for Keith at the MLB level. The 22-year-old isn't really known for his speed, as he never stole more than four bases in a season during his time in the minors. Instead, Keith should display more power when he settles in with the Tigers, as he posted an .890 OPS last season with Triple-A Toledo and a .976 OPS in 2022 with Double-A Erie. He only has a .554 OPS so far this year, but fantasy managers should remain patient because the upside is there.

  • Gio Urshela 3B | MIN

Tigers' Gio Urshela: Sitting for nightcap

Urshela isn't in the Tigers' lineup for the second game of Thursday's doubleheader against the Mets.

Urshela went 3-for-5 with two RBI and scored a run during Detroit's win over the Mets in Game 1, and he will get a breather for the second game of Thursday's slate. Andy Ibanez will fill in at the hot corner and bat seventh.

  • Royce Lewis 3B | MIN

Twins' Royce Lewis: Receives PRP injection

Lewis said Thursday that he received a platelet-rich plasma injection in his right quadricep, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Lewis is still going to be shut down from activity for at least a month, but the injection will aid in the healing process and could make it easier for the 24-year-old to power through his rehab once he resumes on-field work. Willi Castro has been operating as the Twins' primary third baseman since Lewis strained his right quad last Thursday.

  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Another two-hit performance

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 8-0 victory over the Mariners.

Ramirez kicked off a three-run first inning for the Guardians with an RBI double before coming around to score on an infield single from Will Brennan. The third baseman would strike again in his third at-bat, sending home Steven Kwan with another double as Cleveland jumped out to a commanding 6-0 lead. Ramirez has recorded multiple hits in back-to-back games while also scoring two runs in each of those contests. He's now batting .385 through three games this month.

  • Royals' Maikel Garcia: Early power surge continues

Garcia went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Orioles.

The 24-year-old infielder swiped his first bag of the year in the fourth inning before drilling his third homer in six games off Mike Baumann in the seventh. Considering he hit four homers and stole 23 bases in 123 games last season, that ratio is likely the inverse of what fantasy GMs who invested in Garcia expected. He's been hitting the ball hard in general even when it doesn't leave the yard -- Garcia has gone 7-for-25 to begin the season with six of the hits going for extra bases, including two doubles and a triple.

  • Tyler Freeman 3B | COL

Guardians' Tyler Freeman: Heads to bench Wednesday

Freeman is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mariners.

He'll give way to Estevan Florial in center field after starting in five of the Guardians' first six games of the season while hitting .211 with a home run and a stolen base.

  • Josh Jung 3B | TEX

Rangers' Josh Jung: Timetable now 8-to-10 weeks

Rangers general manager Chris Young said Wednesday that Jung will likely be sidelined 8-to-10 weeks after more extensive damage than expected was found during surgery Tuesday to repair his fractured right wrist, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Jung's initial timetable was estimated at six weeks following X-rays on the wrist, but unfortunately, he'll require more recovery time following a procedure that was more invasive than anticipated. The third baseman likely won't return until late May now in a best-case scenario and will be a candidate to move to the 60-day injured list at some point down the road. Josh Smith and Ezequiel Duran have both received a start at third base since Jung went down with the injury, and Justin Foscue is also an option at the hot corner.
