DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Fields some grounders
LeMahieu (foot) fielded groundballs at third base Sunday but was still limited in his lateral movement, David Lennon of Newsday reports.
The veteran infielder recently took part in on-field batting practice and is now working in some fielding drills, but he's clearly still hampered by the non-displaced fracture in his right foot. LeMahieu will need to get to the point where he can move laterally with no issues before having a chance to see game action.

Ramon Urias 3B | STL
Orioles' Ramon Urias: Not starting Sunday
Urias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.
Urias finds himself on the bench for the second straight day, though he's still started five of Baltimore's first nine games this season. Jordan Westburg will again move to third base while Jorge Mateo handles the keystone.

Luis Rengifo 2B | MIL
Angels' Luis Rengifo: Notches first steal
Rengifo went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run in Saturday's 2-1 win against Boston.
Pitching was prevalent in the contest, as the teams combined for just three runs and nine hits. Rengifo had two of the Angels' six knocks, and his legs were critical in the lone inning during which the team scored, as he beat out a two-out grounder for an infield single, stole second base and eventually crossed the plate on a Rafael Devers error. Rengifo appears to be fully recovered after departing early from Wednesday's contest against Miami as a result of feeling lightheaded and subsequently sitting out Friday's series opener against the Red Sox.

Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Rays' Isaac Paredes: Goes deep Saturday
Paredes went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Saturday's 8-6 victory versus the Rockies.
The Rays were down by three runs with two outs in the eighth inning before Paredes ignited a comeback with a solo shot to left field. Prior to that, he had produced Tampa Bay's first run with a single in the first frame. Paredes is off to a nice start to the campaign, slashing .258/.324/.548 with three homers and seven RBI through 34 plate appearances, though his 35.3 percent strikeout rate so far is almost double his mark from last season.

Zack Gelof 2B | ATH
Athletics' Zack Gelof: Sparks offense Saturday
Gelof went 0-for-1 with three walks, three runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Tigers.
It was an impressive display of patience from the 24-year-old second baseman, who managed an 8.7 percent walk rate as a rookie in 2023 but routinely posted marks in double digits in the minors. Gelof has struggled so far this season when he's had to swing the bat, however, going 5-for-32 (.156) with 13 strikeouts to balance out his five free passes, while chipping in two doubles, two steals and five runs.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Participates in batting practice
LeMahieu (foot) took part in on-field batting practice Friday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone noted that he believes LeMahieu could be ready to resume playing soon. The veteran third baseman started the season on the 10-day IL and is working through a bone fracture in his right foot. Oswaldo Cabrera and Jon Berti will continue to hold down third base in LeMahieu's absence.
