  • Ramon Urias 3B | STL

Orioles' Ramon Urias: Provides lone run support

Urias went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer in Sunday's loss to the Astros.

The Orioles mustered up just two hits, but Urias got a hold of one against Yusei Kikuchi in the fifth to even up the game at 3-3. Urias has swung the bat well lately, slashing .302/.354/.651 with four homers, 13 RBI and seven runs scored since Aug. 10. For the year, he's hitting .247/.316/.416 with nine homers, 31 RBI, 29 runs, a steal and a 21:47 BB:K in 256 plate appearances.

  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Two thefts in win

Ramirez went 1-for-3 with one RBI and two stolen bases in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Rangers.

Ramirez was a menace on the basepaths in the third inning. He stole second and third, but he was thrown out at the plate attempting to steal home. Ramirez doesn't have elite speed, but he makes good decisions in his baserunning -- he's now 32-for-36 on steal attempts this year. He's been especially prolific lately with seven thefts over his last 12 contests despite batting .200 (8-for-40) in that span. Overall, the third baseman is up to a .274/.332/.531 slash line with 33 home runs, 103 RBI and 94 runs scored across 127 games.

  • Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Goes yard Sunday

Devers went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run during Sunday's 7-5 loss to Arizona.

Devers took Merrill Kelly yard in the fourth inning with two outs, plating Wilyer Abreu and Triston Casas to give the Red Sox a 4-0 lead. The long ball was Devers' third in the last nine games, a stretch in which he's 9-for-35 with eight RBI and five runs scored. It was also the 200th of his MLB career. The third baseman has 28 home runs on the year and boasts a .952 OPS, which would be a career high if it stands.

  • Shay Whitcomb SS | HOU

Astros' Shay Whitcomb: On bench again Sunday

Whitcomb is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Whitcomb finds himself on the bench for the second straight game after he started the previous seven contests. Alex Bregman is at third base again Sunday, while Yainer Diaz is serving as the designated hitter.

  • Josh Rojas 3B | CHW

Mariners' Josh Rojas: Late addition to lineup

Rojas is starting at third base and batting eighth Sunday against the Giants.

The 30-year-old was scheduled to sit against San Francisco lefty Robbie Ray on Sunday, but Luke Raley (undisclosed) ended up being a late scratch. Rojas has struggled through most of August and is in the midst of a 5-for-44 slump.

  • Josh Rojas 3B | CHW

Mariners' Josh Rojas: On bench against lefty

Rojas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Rojas has a .345 OPS in his past 10 games and will sit Sunday against San Francisco lefty Robbie Ray. Dylan Moore will step in at the hot corner and bat eighth in the series finale.

  • Royce Lewis 3B | MIN

Twins' Royce Lewis: Receiving Sunday off

Lewis is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Lewis will sit Sunday after a run of five straight starts, during which he went 4-for-19 with three RBI, three runs and seven strikeouts. Jose Miranda will handle the hot corner and bat third in the series finale versus St. Louis.

  • Josh H. Smith SS | TEX

Rangers' Josh Smith: Heading to bench Sunday

Smith is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Southpaw Matthew Boyd will draw the start for the Guardians, so the lefty-hitting Smith will hit the bench in favor of the right-handed-hitting Ezequiel Duran, who gets the nod at third base. Smith has endured a rough August thus far, slashing just .203/.247/.278 with four extra-base hits (one home run, three doubles) and one stolen base.

  • Josh Jung 3B | TEX

Rangers' Josh Jung: Playing through laceration

Jung is serving as Texas' designated hitter for Sunday's game at Cleveland due to a finger laceration, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

The 26-year-old was initially penciled in at third base Sunday, but he'll instead fill a non-defensive role since the laceration affects his ability to throw. Jung will have Monday's team off day to rest up and is expected to be fully cleared for Tuesday's series opener versus the White Sox.

  • Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA

Angels' Anthony Rendon: Not in Sunday's lineup

Rendon is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Toronto, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Rendon started the previous six games but will sit Sunday after going 3-for-19 with a double, three RBI and a stolen base during that span. Brandon Drury will shift to the hot corner while Michael Stefanic starts at second base.
