Lowe went 1-for-4 with two RBI on Friday against the Dodgers.

Lowe was scratched from Tuesday's lineup with a neck issue, though he's started two consecutive games since without any problem. He's tallied a hit in both of those contests, and his infield single in the seventh inning drove in a run Friday. Though it was an encouraging performance, Lowe has just a .164 average with eight RBI and four runs scored across 20 games in May.

Garcia went 6-for-6 with two doubles, three runs scored and two RBI in Friday's 12-10 win over the Royals.

The 23-year-old was the lynchpin of a 15-hit barrage for the Nationals as they set new season highs in offense. Garcia also wrote his name in a couple different record books -- he became the first player in the Washington chapter of the club's history to rap out two doubles in the same inning, and just the third in the franchise's combined Nats/Expos history with six hits in a game, following Anthony Rendon in 2017 and Rondell White in 1995. Garcia is also the second-youngest MLB player in the modern era to collect six hits in a nine-inning game, with only Jesus Alou in 1964 being younger. Garcia has been locked in at the plate for a while now, recording nine multi-hit performances in the last 18 games and compiling a .368/.402/.461 slash line over that stretch with a homer, two steals, six RBI and 14 runs.

Stott went 2-for-3 with two walks, two runs scored and three stolen bases in Friday's 6-4 win over Atlanta.

It's the first time in the 25-year-old infielder's career he's swiped multiple bags in a game, but Stott was able to exploit Travis d'Arnaud's presence behind the plate for Atlanta -- the veteran catcher has caught only one of 10 attempts base stealers this year. Stott is up to eight pilfers on the season, and he's hit safely in 12 of his last 13 games while slashing a blistering .346/.397/.558 with two doubles, three homers, eight RBI and nine runs.

Arroyo (hamstring) served as the designated hitter and went 1-for-2 with a walk for Triple-A Worcester on Friday.

Arroyo was removed after three plate appearances in what appeared to be a normal way to kick off a rehab assignment. He'll get a mix of DH and infield play this weekend with the WooSox before being evaluated Monday.

Hernandez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and two walks in Friday's 7-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Hernandez's fourth-inning blast snapped a 26-game homer drought. He hit .260 with six doubles in that span. The 31-year-old is up to four homers, 19 RBI, 25 runs scored, two stolen bases and a .238/.306/.366 slash line through 46 contests overall. He's seen consistent time at shortstop with Yu Chang (wrist) and Christian Arroyo (hamstring) both unavailable, and Hernandez could keep the position even when his injured teammates are ready to return.

Polanco (hamstring) hit on the field before Friday's game, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

It's the first sign of progress for Polanco since he went on the injured list May 20. His timeline to return isn't clear, but it doesn't look like he'll be ready when eligible May 30. He'll likely need to show he can run at full speed before the Twins decide on the next steps.

Rosario went 1-for-3 with a three-run double and a walk in Friday's win over the Cardinals.

Rosario's three-run double in the fifth inning proved to be the game-winning hit Friday. He turned in his first multi-RBI performance since April 3 after totaling just three RBI over his prior 13 games. Rosario has gone 6-for-43 (.140) over his last 11 games, sinking his slash line to .239/.280/.333 with 11 extra-base hits and 13 RBI through 193 plate appearances.

Altuve (illness) is back in the lineup Friday against the Athletics.

Altuve sat out of Wednesday's series finale in Milwaukee after making an early exit from Tuesday's game because of an illness, but he's ready to rock for Friday night's series opener in Oakland. He'll start at second base and bat leadoff versus the A's and right-hander James Kaprielian.

Giants manager Gabe Kapler said Friday that Estrada is dealing with left wrist soreness, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Estrada's wrist will keep him out of the starting lineup Friday, but Kapler added that Estrada could be able to pinch hit. He should be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Rojas isn't starting Friday against the Red Sox.

Arizona has now run into left-handed starters in each of its last three games, so Rojas will begin on the bench for the third consecutive time. Emmanuel Rivera will take over at third base and bat second.
