Arroyo was placed on the 10-day disabled list Saturday with a left oblique strain, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Arroyo went 0-for-3 with a pair of strikeouts Friday and did not play against the Yankees on Saturday, but it's unclear how exactly the injury was sustained. Adeiny Hechavarria (hamstring) returns from the disabled list to bolster the Rays' infield depth.

Andrus' (elbow) rehab shifted to Triple-A Round Rock on Saturday.

The shortstop, who had been rehabbing with Double-A Frisco, is expected to be activated from the disabled list Monday, TR Sullivan of MLB.com reports.

Fontana was sent down to Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Fontana was no longer needed as Andrelton Simmons returned from his ankle injury. Fontana has just one hit in 11 at-bats for the Angels this season, though the hit was a homer.

Rodriguez is starting at second base and batting ninth in Saturday's game against the White Sox.

Rodriguez was called up from Triple-A Toledo on Wednesday, though he hasn't received an at-bat since then. In an earlier stint with the Tigers this season, the 26-year-old just 2-for-19 with six strikeouts, giving him limited fantasy appeal at this point.

Hernandez started in center field and went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a win over the Giants on Friday.

Hernandez took Derek Holland deep in the first inning, getting the ball rolling for the Dodgers' offense in an important division win. The super-utility man is only batting .217 this year, but he is on pace to pass his career high of 11 homers in 2017 with nine long balls through 173 plate appearances this season. Hernandez has started five of the club's last seven contests, but the majority of those have come against left-handed starters.

Solarte went 3-for-4 with a double, two home runs and three RBI in Friday's 6-5 win over the Nationals.

His seventh-inning solo shot off Justin Miller, which gave the Jays a 6-3 lead at the time, proved to be the key run in the game after the visitors staged a rally in the top of the eighth. Solarte already has 14 homers through 66 games this season, fueling his career-high .477 SLG and .217 ISO, and he could match or top last year's personal-best 18 home runs by the All-Star break.

Barreto was called up from Triple-A Nashville on Friday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

It's Barreto's third big-league stint this season, with this latest callup stemming from the placement of Matt Chapman (hand) on the disabled list. Barreto is still looking for his first big-league hit of 2018, and he was slashing .234/.337/.448 with 18 extra-base hits (10 doubles, one triple, seven home runs) and 20 RBI across 181 plate appearances at Nashville.

Polanco (suspension) will not begin a rehab assignment this weekend due to a cut on the finger of his throwing hand, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Polanco is still in the midst of an 80-game suspension but this likely won't have any impact on his eventual return date -- which is scheduled for July 2 -- unless his finger winds up requiring more time off than expected. During 133 games last year, he slashed .256/.313/.410 with 13 home runs, 74 RBI and 13 stolen bases.

Marte is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Mets.

Marte has found his groove after a rough first two months of the season, and is batting .385/.421/.808 with three home runs and 15 RBI in 57 plate appearances over his last 16 games. Daniel Descalso will start at second base and bat fifth for the Diamondbacks, but don't expect Marte to be out of the lineup for long given his recent production.

Joseph was recalled from Double-A Bowie on Friday.

Joseph will serve as infield depth for the Orioles during his second taste of action at the big-league level, with the first coming in 2013 for the Yankees. Over 59 games with Bowie this year, he's slashed .336/.394/.550 with eight home runs and 34 RBI. During Friday's game against the Marlins, Joseph will man first base and hit out of the leadoff spot.
