Diaz has been out of the lineup the last two days at Triple-A New Orleans due to a sore knee, Craig Mish of FNTSY Sports Radio reports.

Diaz is enjoying a strong season for the Baby Cakes with a .292/.377/.549 slash line and 16 home runs in 71 games, but he's taking a few days off after tweaking his knee. The 22-year-old isn't expected to require a trip to the injured list and should return to action within the next couple days.

Lowe is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics, Josh Tolentino of The Athletic reports.

Lowe sits after starting seven straight contests. Joey Wendle will start at second base.

Marte (groin) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Marte exited Friday's game with a left groin cramp and will be held out of the lineup for the second straight game. The injury doesn't appear overly serious, but the Diamondbacks will nonetheless remain cautious with the 25-year-old. Tim Locastro will start in center field Sunday while Ildemaro Vargas starts at the keystone in the series finale.

Frazier is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Frazier will head to the bench for the second time in the series with lefty Joey Lucchesi on the mound for the Friars. Kevin Newman will slide over to second base while Jung Ho Kang starts at shortstop.

Chavis went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 8-7 loss to the Blue Jays.

Chavis has hit safely in 11 straight games, the longest active streak in the AL, going 16-for-50 (.320) during the run. Manager Alex Cora told Steve Hewitt of the Boston Herald that Chavis has stayed in the zone, refusing to chase pitches upstairs or down. "He's made some adjustments but I think it starts with that," Cora said. "Get ready early, see the ball, and not try to do too much. He will swing and miss. We know that. But I think he's been a lot better the last two weeks."

Marte (groin) is not in the lineup Saturday against San Francisco.

Marte left Friday's game with a left groin cramp. The issue doesn't appear to be particularly serious, but he'll get at least one day to rest. Ildemaro Vargas will start at second base in his absence.

McNeil will get the day off Sunday against the Cubs, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.

McNeil will sit after starting six straight contests. He had a strong performance in Saturday's blowout victory over the Cubs, going 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI. His season slash line now sits at an excellent .342/.407/.494.

Altuve will start at second base and bat leadoff Saturday against the Yankees, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Alex Bregman will slide down to the No. 2 spot in the order while Altuve settles in atop the order for just the second time all season. Manager AJ Hinch hasn't indicated whether Altuve's table-setting assignment will be an extended arrangement or a one-off one, but bet on the latter with George Springer (hamstring) trending toward a return from the 10-day injured list Tuesday. Springer has made all 47 of his starts this season out of the leadoff spot.

Hernandez remains on the bench Saturday against Colorado.

Hernandez will sit for the second straight game. He's hitting .146/.212/.229 over his last 14 games. Max Muncy will remain the starter at second base.

Torres is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Astros, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

Torres will head to the bench after hitting .387 with four home runs, 13 RBI and 12 runs while starting each of the last 10 games. Despite his immense success of late, Torres will likely stick in the bottom half of the lineup on a regular basis with the Yankees recently acquiring Edwin Encarnacion and getting their top two power hitters (Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge) back from the injured list.
