The Dodgers intend to call up Lux from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, Emily Waldon of The Athletic reports.

While Lux wasn't included among the Dodgers' initial wave of September callups Sunday, the organization's top prospect is believed to be en route to Los Angeles after he was withheld from the lineup at Oklahoma City. Though the Dodgers likely didn't come into the season expecting Lux to contribute for the big club at any point, the 21-year-old earned his spot in the majors after slashing .392/.478/.719 with 13 home runs in 49 games at Triple-A following his late-June promotion from Double-A Tulsa. Expect Lux to receive most of his initial action at second base while Max Muncy (wrist) is on the shelf.

Urias is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Urias started the last 18 games and will head to the bench after slashing .211/.297/.333 in that stretch. Greg Garcia will take over at shortstop while Ty France covers the keystone.

Dubon is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Dubon started the last three games, going 2-for-10 with a strikeout, and will return to the bench Sunday. Donovan Solano will start at second base and bat leadoff in the series finale.

Diaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals, Andre Fernandez of The Athletic reports.

The rookie will hit the bench for a second straight day while he continues to labor at the plate since his Aug. 5 promotion to the big leagues. Through his first 97 plate appearances, Diaz is hitting just .157 while striking out 28.9 percent of the time. Starlin Castro will cover the keystone in place of Diaz in the series finale.

Marte (hamstring) will bat third and start at second base Sunday against the Dodgers.

Marte was held out of the lineup the last two days with the right hamstring issue, though he did appear as a pinch hitter Friday. The 25-year-old had a .356/.431/.611 slash line with five home run and four stolen bases over 23 games in August.

Drury will start in left field and bat eighth Sunday against the Astros, Mike Wilner of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.

Drury will pick up his fourth straight start and fifth in six games, this time replacing a banged-up Derek Fisher (undisclosed) in left field. Though the 27-year-old doesn't have a direct path to an everyday role at any position, his ability to play all over the diamond in addition to both corner outfield spots should help Drury earn at least a handful of starts per week during the season's final month.

Jackson clubbed his 23rd home run of the season for rookie-level Orem on Saturday to tie the single-season Pioneer League record.

Jackson's record-tying homer came in the sixth and was also the first three-run shot of his minor-league career. Per Katie Woo of MiLB.com, Gregory Morrison of the Medicine Hat Blue Jays established the record with 23 home runs in 1997. With seven games left in Orem's season, Jackson has an excellent chance of stamping his name alone in the record book with one more long ball.

Polanco went 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk and two RBI in Saturday's 10-7 loss to the Tigers.

Polanco might be the hottest hitter in an exceptional Twins lineup, as he closed out August with a .404/.492/.673 slash line, three home runs, 16 runs and nine RBI over his last 13 contests. He'll carry a four-game multi-hit streak into the third game of the series in Detroit on Sunday, when he'll man shortstop and occupy the No. 2 spot in the order.

The Athletics recalled Barreto from Triple-A Las Vegas ahead of Sunday's game against the Yankees.

The 23-year-old will provide the Athletics with some additional depth in the infield and outfield but is unlikely to see meaningful at-bats in September with Oakland firmly in the mix for a playoff spot. Barreto posted a .926 OPS to go with 19 home runs and 15 steals at Las Vegas this season but has struggled across multiple abbreviated stints in the majors, slashing .106/.125/.255 over 48 plate appearances.

Oakland designated Joseph for assignment Sunday.

The Athletics called up Joseph from Triple-A Las Vegas in mid-August with the hope he would provide an upgrade at second base over Jurickson Profar. That ultimately didn't materialize, as Joseph slashed .189/.225/.324 across 40 plate appearances while Profar caught fire as August came to an end. Joseph will now surrender his spot on both the active and 40-man rosters with the Athletics needing to clear a spot for depth catcher Sean Murphy, whose contract was selected from Triple-A Las Vegas.
