Manager Jayce Tingler said early indications are Kim avoided a concussion after colliding with teammate Tommy Pham (head) during Wednesday's game against the Cubs, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

The collision occurred during the fourth inning Wednesday while in pursuit of a pop fly in shallow left field. Kim should be considered day-to-day while he continues to be evaluated, while Pham received stitches and will undergo a CT scan.

Andrus went 1-for-3 with a double, two walks and two runs in a win over the Mariners on Tuesday.

Andrus' long-awaited renaissance at the plate continued in the big win for Oakland, as the veteran shortstop reached safely for the sixth time in the last seven starts. Andrus boasts an outstanding .409/.480/.500 slash line over that stretch, although he remains without a home run through 185 plate appearances.

Espinal isn't in the lineup Wednesday against the Marlins.

Espinal will be out of the lineup for a second straight game after he went 3-for-8 with a double, three RBI and a run across his last four appearances. Joe Panik will start at the hot corner and bat sixth.

Rodgers is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rangers, AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain reports.

Garrett Hampson will step into the starting nine in place of Rodgers, who had been in the lineup in each of the Rockies' past seven games. In the last four, Rodgers started at shortstop, and he should remain the primary option at that position while Trevor Story (elbow) is on the shelf. The early returns from Rodgers haven't been overly impressive since he was activated from the injured list May 21; over his first 34 plate appearances with Colorado, Rodgers is slashing .167/.265/.167.

The collision resulted in both players failing to catch a flyball in the shallow outfield, but Kim had the wherewithal to relay the dropped ball into the infield, starting a 6-5-4 double play. Kim still appeared to absorb the brunt of the impact in the collision, as he required assistance off the field with the help of team trainers, while Pham headed to the dugout under his own power. Both players were holding their heads after the collision, so Kim will presumably undergo concussion testing in the locker room. While starting at shortstop for the injured Fernando Tatis (oblique), Kim went 1-for-2 with an RBI prior to departing.

Lowe isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Yankees.

Lowe had served as the leadoff hitter in each of the last two games and went 1-for-9 with a run and a strikeout during that time. Mike Brosseau will start at second base and bat fourth with left-hander Jordan Montgomery starting for the Yankees on Wednesday.

Rojas is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets.

Rojas heads to the bench for the first time since May 10, ending a stretch of 21 consecutive starts for the 26-year-old. After a wretched start to the season, Rojas began to turn things around at the plate in late April and has since established himself as an everyday player. Though he'll be sitting with southpaw David Peterson on the mound, the lefty-hitting Rojas should still find himself in the lineup more often than not against both lefties and righties.

Frazier went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and an RBI in Tuesday's 10-5 loss to Kansas City.

He leads the majors in hits (71) and doubles (19) while ranking fourth overall with a .335 batting average. Frazier has hits in 15 of his last 16 games, batting .412 (28-for-68) with 11 runs and 10 extra-base hits since May 14. He moved from second base to left field during Tuesday's tilt, giving him four appearances in the outfield in 2021.

Urias went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Tuesday's 10-7 loss to the Tigers.

The ball was flying at American Family Field as the two teams combined for nine homers, and Urias got in on the fun with a ninth-inning blast off Gregory Soto, his sixth home run of the year. The infielder has five hits and four RBI in his last three games, and with Travis Shaw mired in a 4-for-40 slump, Urias has become more than just a platoon option against lefties at third base for the Brewers.

Altuve went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and three walks in Tuesday's 5-1 win over Boston.

The second baseman led off Houston's half of the first inning with a 435-foot homer to give the Astros a lead they did not relinquish. He also reached base via walk three times, pushing his season OBP to .369. Altuve also has eight home runs and 24 RBI as part of a bounceback campaign during which he has posted a .841 OPS -- over 200 points better than his 2020 mark.
