Andrus went 2-for-4 with a double and a run in a win over the Mariners on Wednesday.

Andrus not only kept his torrid stretch at the plate going with his fourth multi-hit effort in the last nine games, but he also was credited by none other than Mariners manager Scott Servais for wearing out his starter Chris Flexen with an epic 13-pitch at-bat that ultimately culminated in the veteran shortstop's second two-bagger in as many nights. The 32-year-old is hitting .438 over the 29 plate appearances he's logged during the aforementioned hot streak, boosting his season slash line from .174/.219/.221 to .211/.259/.269 in the process.

Arroyo went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run during Thursday's win over the Astros.

Arroyo swatted his first long ball of the year just over the wall with a 339-footer against Jake Odorizzi to give the Red Sox the lead for good. After missing nearly a month with a bruised left hand, the 26-year-old is batting .282/.330/.412 across 28 games this season.

Wong isn't starting Thursday against the Mariners.

Wong will be out of the lineup for a second straight contest, but he still had three plate appearances off the bench in Tuesday's win. Phil Gosselin will start at second base and lead off Thursday.

Diaz will start at third base and bat seventh Thursday against the Pirates, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

He'll be making his third start in a row at the hot corner while Brian Anderson (shoulder) remains on the shelf. Though he lost out on a full-time role in the middle infield to Jazz Chisholm early on in the season, the injuries to Anderson and shortstop Miguel Rojas (finger) appears to have opened up an everyday role for Diaz in the short term. Diaz has recorded more walks (seven) than strikeouts (six) over his last six games, but thanks to going 1-for-16 during that stretch, he has no RBI or runs.

Mayfield went 2-for-3 in a loss to the Athletics on Wednesday.

The shortstop mustered the only multi-hit effort of the night for the Mariners in the shutout defeat. Mayfield has shown signs of life at the plate over his last five games (three starts), going 4-for-10 with a double, two RBI, a walk and a run during that span.

Guillorme (oblique) will start a rehab assignment with Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

He has been out since April 30 with a right oblique strain. Guillorme could return sometime next week, at which point there should be playing time available with Jeff McNeil (hamstring), Jonathan Villar (hamstring) and J.D. Davis (hand) all banged up.

Altuve went 0-for-2 with two walks and a run scored in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Red Sox.

The 31-year-old scored one of the game's three runs on a Yuli Gurriel sacrifice fly in the first inning. Altuve was the only Astros player to draw a walk during the contest, and he did so twice. In 207 plate appearances, he is slashing .302/.372/.467 with eight home runs, 37 runs and 24 RBI, and his current 10.3 BB% is the highest of his career.

Albies went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Nationals.

The second baseman got Atlanta back in the game in the seventh inning, tying things up at 3-3 with a two-run two-bagger, but the bullpen faltered late. Albies has five multi-hit performances in the last nine games, slashing .343/.425/.743 over that blistering stretch with three homers, two steals, 10 runs and 12 RBI as he puts a sluggish start to the season behind him.

Hernandez will not be in the starting lineup Thursday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Hernandez is one of many Boston hitters noticeably silent during the first three games of the team's current series in Houston. His struggles reach back further, so Hernandez will get a break after an 0-for-24 stretch. Danna Santana could be his replacement in center field Thursday.

Marte went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 7-6 loss to the Mets.

Marte got Arizona on the board with his first-inning homer. The 27-year-old has hit safely in eight of the last nine games, going 12-for-35 (.343) with two homers, seven RBI and seven runs scored in that span. That's in line with his season numbers -- he's slashing .347/.390/.587 across 82 plate appearances overall.
