  • Ketel Marte 2B | ARI

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Snaps hitless streak

Marte went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 8-7 loss to the Marlins.

Marte's three-run shot in the fourth inning snapped an 0-for-11 streak, his longest hitless stretch of the season. With the home run, he became the third player in Diamondbacks history to drive in 500 runs for the club. Marte's been remarkably consistent in 2025, which factors into him being atop the All-Star voting at second base in the NL.

  • Cardinals' Brendan Donovan: Leads off game with long ball

Donovan went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, two walks, two total runs and two total RBI in Saturday's 9-6 victory versus the Guardians.

Donovan set the tone for the high-scoring matchup when he led off the contest with a 391-foot homer. The versatile veteran added a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning while also drawing multiple free passes for just the third time this season. Donovan has been slumping of late, batting just .158 (6-for-38) over his past 10 games, but he's still hitting a strong .302 on the campaign.

  • Orioles' Jackson Holliday: Three more hits Saturday

Holliday went 3-for-5 with a stolen base in Saturday's 11-3 loss to the Rays.

The 21-year-old continues to tease a breakout. Holliday has banged out multiple hits in four of the last eight games, a stretch in which he's batting .288 (15-for-52) with two homers, two steals, four runs and six RBI. With Jordan Westburg (finger) having trouble staying healthy, Holliday has gotten a chance to settle into a full-time job, and he could be poised for a big second half of the season.

  • Royals' Jonathan India: Sparks offense in win

India went 4-for-5 with a double, one RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 9-5 win over the Dodgers.

India was a thorn in the Dodgers' side all game, scoring in the third, fifth and seventh innings. The 28-year-old has had an uneven stretch over his past 10 games, going hitless five times but also notching three multi-hit efforts. For the season, he's slashing .246/.321/.343 with four home runs, 23 RBI and 32 runs scored across 324 plate appearances.

  • Hye Seong Kim 2B | LAD

Dodgers' Hyeseong Kim: Could see more playing time

Kim could see more starts at second base going forward now that Tommy Edman is healthy enough to play in the outfield, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reported Saturday.

Kim had been part of the starting lineup in four of the Dodgers' past 13 games, making three starts in center field and one at second base. However, Edman's minor ankle injury is healed enough to allow him to play the outfield, which should open up more opportunities for Kim at the keystone -- the position he's had his most starts at this season. The 26-year-old rookie is slashing .372/.410/.538 with two home runs and six stolen bases in 83 plate appearances. Kim is batting eighth and playing second base Saturday against the Royals.

  • Tommy Edman 2B | LAD

Dodgers' Tommy Edman: Getting some rest Saturday

Edman isn't in the starting lineup against the Royals on Saturday.

After starting each of Los Angeles' previous 12 contests, Edman will begin on the bench in Kansas City on Saturday. In his stead, rookie Hyeseong Kim is getting a start at second base while batting in the No. 8 slot.

  • Guardians' Daniel Schneemann: Covers third base

Schneemann started at third base and went 0-for-3 in Friday's 5-0 loss to the Cardinals.

Schneemann filled in for the injured Jose Ramirez, who was unavailable after being hit by a pitch on his forearm during Thursday's loss to Toronto. Schneemann's been grinding the last week, going 2-for-21 (.095) with zero RBI and one run scored over the last seven contests.

  • Kody Clemens 1B | MIN

    Twins' Kody Clemens: Idle Saturday

Clemens is not in the Twins' starting lineup against the Tigers on Saturday.

Clemens will hit the bench after starting in the Twins' last six games, going 3-for-18 (.167) with four runs scored and two solo homers over that span. Willi Castro will shift to the keystone while Trevor Larnach, Harrison Bader and Matt Wallner start in the outfield from left to right.

  • Luis Garcia 2B | WAS

Nationals' Luis Garcia: Delivers three-hit effort in win

Garcia went 3-for-6 with two RBI and one run scored in Friday's 15-9 win over the Angels.

Garcia has put together a strong June, batting .317 (26-for-82) with 13 RBI and eight extra-base hits over 22 games this month. The second baseman was one of three Nationals to post a trio of hits in the team's 19-hit attack Friday. Garcia is up to a .273/.314/.424 slash line with seven home runs, 38 RBI, 37 runs scored, 19 doubles and seven stolen bases over 73 contests. He is holding down a strong-side platoon role at the keystone, with Amed Rosario encroaching on his playing time as a platoon partner after Garcia began the season drawing at least some starts versus southpaws.

  • Otto Lopez SS | MIA

Marlins' Otto Lopez: Three more hits in win

Lopez went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, a double, an additional RBI and two total runs scored in Friday's 9-8 win over the Diamondbacks.

Lopez has five multi-hit efforts during his eight-game hitting streak, going 15-for-32 (.469) in that span. The infielder's homer Friday was his first since June 9 versus the Pirates, and this was his first game with multiple extra-base hits all season. The 26-year-old's surge has him up to a .261/.332/.386 slash line with a career-high seven homers as well as 35 RBI, 33 runs scored, nine doubles and eight stolen bases over 65 contests in 2025.
