Hernandez is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Blue Jays, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

Jarren Duran will get a look in center field Thursday and middle infielders Christian Arroyo (leg) and Xander Bogaerts (back) are both in the lineup after one-game absences, so Hernandez will retreat to the bench after starting each of the past five contests. Though Hernandez has gotten off to a slow start at the plate since returning from the injured list Aug. 16 -- he's slashed .214/.233/.357 over seven games -- he should be locked into a near-everyday role for the rest of the season.

India (lower leg) is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Phillies.

Alejo Lopez will fill in at second base while India sits out the series finale after he was lifted from Wednesday's 7-5 loss with left lower leg soreness. He initially missed three games earlier this month on account of the same injury. India had an MRI come back clean and could rejoin the lineup Friday in Washington, per Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer.

Altuve went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Wednesday against the Twins.

Altuve took Dylan Bundy yard in the first inning to tally his 21st homer of the season. Altuve has three multi-hit performances in his last five games, also tallying four runs scored and three RBI in that span. Overall, he has a .280/.369/.504 line across 461 plate appearances this season.

Donovan will start in right field and bat second in Thursday's game against the Cubs, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

He'll stick in the lineup for a fourth consecutive game at his fourth different position after previously making starts in left field and at both corner-infield spots. Though he no longer has a hold on a full-time role at any position, Donovan's ability to play all over the infield and outfield should allow him to continue to see semi-regular work, especially while he's wielding a hot bat. He enters Thursday's contest riding a six-game hitting streak, during which he's scored four times and has driven in four runs.

Haggerty (shoulder) is not in the starting lineup Thursday versus the Guardians.

Haggerty will miss a fifth straight game as he nurses left shoulder soreness. Mitch Haniger will slide over to right field while Carlos Santana enters the lineup at designated hitter and bats sixth in the series opener.

Rengifo will sit Thursday versus the Rays, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Rengifo will get a breather after he went 5-for-25 with a double, an RBI and a run scored while starting the last six games. Jose Rojas will take over at the hot corner and bat eighth against Tampa Bay.

Lowe is not starting Thursday against the Angels, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Lowe will ride the pine Thursday as the Rays face left-hander Patrick Sandoval on the mound. Isaac Paredes will draw the start at second base and bat fifth versus Los Angeles.

India was removed from Wednesday's loss to the Phillies with left lower-leg soreness, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

India missed three games after he originally suffered the injury during the Field of Dreams Game against the Cubs on Aug. 11, and he's apparently not fully past the issue nearly two weeks later. The 25-year-old went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI prior to leaving Wednesday's contest, and manager David Bell said the leg is sometimes "throbbing and really hurting" by the end of the game. India doesn't appear to have suffered a setback and should be considered day-to-day, and the team is likely to remain cautious with the second baseman as he continues to manage the injury.

Rodgers went 2-for-3 with a double Wednesday against the Rangers.

Rodgers continued his productive homestand, as he now has seven hits in 21 at-bats across five games. Though he hasn't gone yard in that span, he does have three doubles and two RBI. The majority of Rodgers' production has come at Coors Field, but he has a 101 wRC+ and .334 wOBA across 480 plate appearances overall for the campaign.
