Nationals infielder Danny Espinosa was able to start Sunday against the Dodgers after leaving Saturday's game due to cramping in his calves. 

Espinosa is batting .233 (10 for 43) with one double, two home runs, five RBI, four runs, three walks and 13 strikeouts in 12 July games.

Nationals second baseman Danny Espinosa left Saturday's game against the Dodgers after diving after a ground ball in the ninth inning, per The Washington Post.

Espinosa had both of his calves cramp up when he made a play for the ball, but he is expected to be fine.

Espinosa went 1 for 3 with two strikeouts before leaving the game. 

Enrique Hernandez gets his fourth start of the season for the Dodgers in left field. Hernandez is in Sunday's starting lineup, batting ninth. 

Hernandez hasn't started in left since June 27. 

Padres third baseman Yangervis Solarte has been a one-hit wonder lately. He had exactly one hit in eight of his last nine starts heading into play Saturday in Texas.

That ended with a bang. Solarte doubled in the first, walked twice, then blasted a two-run homer off Rangers closer Shawn Tolleson in the ninth to turn defeat into victory.

Solarte now owns a slash line on the year of .252/.306/.391.

Nationals second baseman Danny Espinosa had the biggest hit of the night in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Orioles. Espinosa launched a go-ahead, three-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to give his club a 6-4 lead.

The home run was Espinosa's 10th of the year, making this the first time he's reached double digits in homers since 2012.

Espinosa had his 15th double and ninth home run of the year in the game. It's the first time he's had multiple extra-base hits in a game since getting two doubles on June 30. He went deep for the first time since June 10. 

Dodgers shortstop Jimmy Rollins gets a rest on Sunday, as he's out of the starting lineup for the first time in 12 games. Rollins had started 15 of the previous 16 games at short. 

In his place, Enrique Hernandez gets his ninth start of the year at short. 

Padres third baseman Yangervis Solarte homered for the second time in three days in Saturday's loss to St. Louis. 

Solarte snapped a 57 game homer drought on Thursday. He now has four homers on the year. 

Padres first baseman Yangervis Solarte was tossed from Thursday's game against the Cardinals after striking out on a check swing in the top of the sixth inning.

Solarte disagreed on the umpire's call that he swung at a third strike. He finished the game 1 for 3 with a solo home run, his third of the season.

The Nationals will start infielder Danny Espinosa at shortstop for Thursday's game at Atlanta, reports MASNsports.com.

He will bat second and replace Ian Desmond, who was given the day off. Over his last 10 games, Espinosa is hitting .194 with two doubles and three RBI.

The Nationals are favored (-180) at Atlanta on Thursday.
