Marte isn't starting Friday's game against the Cardinals.

Marte will get a breather after he went 4-for-13 with two runs, an RBI and a walk across the last three games. Tim Locastro will start in center field and bat eighth.

Lux isn't starting Thursday's game against the Giants, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Lux will get a breather after he went 0-for-3 with a walk Wednesday. Chris Taylor will start at shortstop while Albert Pujols enters the lineup at first base.

India is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Nationals.

India will take a seat for the nightcap after he went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base earlier in the day, when the Nationals won 5-3 in the resumption of Wednesday's suspended game. Max Schrock will substitute in for India at second base.

Rojas went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Giants.

Rojas ran his hit streak to six games, going 10-for-23 with five doubles and three RBI during that run. The utility player has been filling in at second base and right field while Asdrubal Cabrera (hamstring) and Kole Calhoun (hamstring) are sidelined. The Diamondbacks have dropped 10 straight, falling to last place in the NL West, so they may decide to begin preparing for next season. That means potentially handing second base to Rojas even when Cabrera returns.

Hoerner (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday, Russell Dorsey of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

It was initially unclear how severe Hoerner's left hamstring strain was, but now it's apparent that he'll require more than just a few days to recover. The injury comes at a bad time for the infielder, who was in the midst of a 10-for-27 stretch at the plate. Outfielder Rafael Ortega was selected from Triple-A Iowa in a corresponding move.

Frazier went 1-for-3 with a walk in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Cubs.

He was also hit on the left foot by a Jake Arrieta 88-mph breaking pitch in the second inning but remained in the game. The offensively-starved Pirates can ill afford to be without Frazier who is slashing .335/.401/.459 in 207 plate appearances. Fortunately, it appears as though the team (and fantasy managers) dodged a bullet Tuesday.

Hoerner was diagnosed with a left hamstring strain after leaving Tuesday's game against the Pirates, Russell Dorsey of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

The 24-year-old went 2-for-2 before suffering the injury while running out a failed bunt attempt during the sixth inning. Hoerner should be considered day-to-day until the severity of the injury is determined.

Hoerner was removed from Tuesday's game at Pittsburgh with an apparent left hamstring injury, Gordon Wittenmyer of NBC Sports Chicago reports.

The 24-year-old suffered the injury during the sixth inning while running out a bunt attempt, and he tumbled over the first-base bag. Hoerner walked off the field with the athletic trainer and should be considered day-to-day.

The Marlins reinstated Diaz from the 7-day injured list Tuesday.

The details behind Diaz's absence were never disclosed, but the infielder now rejoins the Marlins. His brief IL stint may have come at a good time, as Diaz went 2-for-28 in his last 11 games before being sidelined. He fills the active roster spot of Brian Anderson (shoulder), whom the Marlins placed on the 10-day IL on Tuesday. Jon Berti will get the nod at the hot corner Tuesday, though Diaz could appear off the bench against the Phillies.

Drury will start in right field and bat third in Tuesday's game against the Rockies, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

With the Mets dealing with a plethora of injuries in their outfield, the recently signed Drury will get the opportunity to bat in the middle of the lineup against Colorado.
