  • Brandon Lowe 2B | PIT

Rays' Brandon Lowe: Back in lineup Monday

Lowe (shoulder) is starting at designated hitter and batting second in Monday's game versus the Yankees, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Lowe will be back in the lineup Monday after he missed Sunday's contest with shoulder soreness. The 28-year-old has been cold from the plate recently, producing one hit over 20 at-bats in his last five games. Lowe will look to turn it around against New York.

  • Red Sox's Enrique Hernandez: Expected to return Tuesday

Hernandez (hip) is expected to be reinstated from the 60-day injured list Tuesday, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Hernandez has been out since June 7 while nursing a right hip flexor strain, but he appears to be on the cusp of a return to the big leagues. The 30-year-old has struggled from the plate this year, batting .209 with four homers, 24 RBI and 27 runs over 215 at-bats in 51 games. Jaylin Davis was optioned to Triple-A Worcester on Sunday, opening a roster spot for Hernandez.

  • Tony Kemp 2B | MIN

Athletics' Tony Kemp: On base thrice in loss

Kemp went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a walk in a loss to the Astros on Sunday.

The veteran gave the Athletics a glimmer of hope in the ninth inning when his timely knock plated Cal Stevenson, but that would be the final run of the game for the Athletics. Kemp's multi-hit effort was his third in the last four games, and he's now reached safely in eight consecutive starts, a stretch during which he owns a .300 average and .400 on-base percentage.

  • Amed Rosario SS | NYY

Guardians' Amed Rosario: Homers, steals base in win

Rosario went 3-for-4 with a homer, three runs, two RBI, a stolen base, a walk and a strikeout during Sunday's 7-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Rosario produced plenty of runs during the Guardians' three-game series in Toronto, logging four runs and four RBI over the matchups against the Blue Jays. The 26-year-old has showcased increased power since the start of August, slashing .268/.293/.536 with four runs, 14 RBI and 10 runs over 13 games during that time.

  • Tigers' Harold Castro: Hits home run Sunday

Castro went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the White Sox.

Castro hit his fifth home run of the season in the ninth inning against Chicago reliever Kendall Graveman. The utility player is one of the few Detroit players making regular contact this year, as he's now batting a solid .286. Castro has some fantasy upside when he's in the lineup, though he's mostly a singles hitter who doesn't steal a ton of bases, which caps his potential.

  • Adam Frazier 2B | LAA

Mariners' Adam Frazier: Receives day off

Frazier is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.

Frazier started the past 25 games and will take a seat Sunday while in the midst of a 4-for-29 slump. Dylan Moore will man the keystone and bat ninth in the series finale at Texas.

  • Royals' Michael Massey: Heads to bench Sunday

Massey is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers, Joel Goldberg of Bally Sports Kansas City reports.

Massey has been a regular in the lineup since being called up by Kansas City on Aug. 3, and he'll step out of the starting nine Sunday after producing an .809 OPS with five RBI, three runs and a stolen base across nine games. Nicky Lopez will start at the keystone while Bobby Witt lines up at shortstop in the series finale versus Los Angeles.

  • Andres Gimenez 2B | TOR

Guardians' Andres Gimenez: Takes seat Sunday

Gimenez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Toronto.

Gimenez started the past seven games and will receive a day off after hitting .423 with a double, an RBI, four runs and four stolen bases during that stretch. Owen Miller will step in at the keystone Sunday for Cleveland.

  • Brandon Lowe 2B | PIT

Rays' Brandon Lowe: Managing sore shoulder

Lowe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles due to shoulder soreness, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The 28-year-old was on the bench against Baltimore lefty DL Hall on Saturday and will sit again Sunday due to the shoulder issue. It's unclear when the injury first surfaced, but Lowe has recently struggled at the plate, going 1-for-20 with 10 strikeouts over his past five contests. Yu Chang will start at the keystone and bat sixth in the series finale versus the Orioles.

  • Luis Arraez 2B | SF

Twins' Luis Arraez: Racks up three more hits

Arraez went 3-for-4 with a stolen base and a walk in Saturday's 5-3 extra-innings loss to the Angels.

This was Arraez's fourth three-hit effort in his last five games as he continues to excel at making good contact. He's added two of his four steals this season in that short span. The 25-year-old's surge has lifted his slash line to .337/.402/.446 with six home runs, 37 RBI and 61 runs scored through 100 contests this year.
