Raley will serve as the Rays' designated hitter and No. 5 batter in Monday's game at Baltimore, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

He'll be making his third consecutive start after going 1-for-5 with a pair of walks and RBI in the past two contests while getting looks at first base and in left field. Raley looks as though he could see added opportunities while all of Wander Franco (wrist), Harold Ramirez (thumb), Kevin Kiermaier (hip) and Manuel Margot (knee) are stuck on the injured list.

Cooper (arm) isn't starting Monday's game against the Reds, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Cooper was hit by a pitch while serving as a pinch hitter Saturday and is out of the lineup for a second consecutive game. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available off the bench Monday or whether he'll require a trip to the injured list. Nick Fortes is serving as the designated hitter and batting second Monday.

Pratto will start at first base and bat seventh in Monday's game against the Angels.

Since getting his first big-league call-up July 14 in the wake of the Royals placing 10 players on the restricted list, Pratto has retained a full-time role with the big club coming out of the All-Star break. The rookie has gone 7-for-25 with a home run, three doubles, two RBI and a run scored while starting each of the past seven games, and so long as he can continue to hold his own at the dish, the rebuilding Royals should have a regular spot for him in the lineup.

O'Hearn remains out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Angels.

O'Hearn made four consecutive starts in right field during the Royals' series in Toronto to close out the first half, but he's predictably faded back into a bench role coming out of the All-Star break with Kansas City having since returned 10 players from the restricted list. He'll be on the bench for the fourth game in a row, with Hunter Dozier having since taken over as Kansas City's everyday right fielder.

Hall is out of the lineup for Monday's game against Atlanta.

The Phillies will bring two of their righty-hitting bats off the bench as replacements for the lefty-hitting Hall and Didi Gregorius while southpaw Max Fried takes the mound for Atlanta. Alec Bohm will serve as the Phillies' designated hitter in Hall's stead while Johan Camargo comes off the bench to fill Bohm's usual post at third base.

Guerrero went 4-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's victory over Boston.

Guerrero scored on a Cavan Biggio single in the first inning, then sent Raimel Tapia home on a single of his own in the fifth inning. This was the first baseman's fourth multi-hit performance in his last six games, raising his batting average from .268 to .280 during that span. Guerrero has an impressive .341 batting average for the month, but he has just two home runs in July after hitting nine in June.

Naylor went 3-for-5 with a run scored in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the White Sox.

This was Naylor's third multi-hit effort in his last five games. He's gone 8-for-20 (.400) with five RBI and three runs scored in that span. He's continued to play well while seeing consistent time at first base, though he was the designated hitter Sunday. The 25-year-old is up to a .282/.332/.504 slash line with 13 home runs, 51 RBI, 30 runs scored and a stolen base through 262 plate appearances.

Alonso went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, four RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Sunday's 8-5 win over the Padres.

Alonso put the Mets ahead with a three-run blast in the sixth inning, and he added an RBI double in the seventh that ended up being the game-winning hit. The slugger didn't let the All-Star break slow him down -- he's 6-for-10 in three games since the schedule resumed. The first baseman has 25 homers, 82 RBI, 53 runs scored, two stolen bases and 17 doubles while slashing .274/.349/.534 in 95 contests this season.

Diaz went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, a double and two runs scored in Sunday's 4-2 loss to Kansas City.

Diaz drilled a solo shot off of Kris Bubic in the third inning, ending a 56-game homerless drought. He later doubled and scored a run in the sixth. The 30-year-old was in a 3-for-24 (.125) slump since his last multi-hit game July 11. Diaz improved his season slash line to .295/.409/.404 with 24 extra-base hits and 43 runs scored through 86 games.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-4 with two homers and three RBI in a 6-3 loss Sunday in Cincinnati.

Goldschmidt was the only player to get a hit off Tyler Mahle, and he took the starter deep twice, accounting for all the Cardinals' runs. He's now homered in four straight games -- five if you include his All-Star Game blast. It appears that the only thing that can stop Goldschmidt right now is the Canadian government, as he won't be able to be with the team due to the COVID-19 vaccination requirement in Canada when St. Louis begins a two-game series in Toronto on Tuesday. He'll rejoin the Cardinals when they return stateside Friday in Washington.
