Padres' Brandon Dixon: Returns to Triple-A
The Padres optioned Dixon to Triple-A El Paso on Monday.

Freddie Freeman 1B | LAD
Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Continues activity on basepaths
Freeman went 1-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base Sunday in a 6-3 win against St. Louis.
Freeman came into the series versus the Cardinals with just one theft on the campaign, but he is now up to four after nabbing three steals over his past two contests. The sudden uptick of aggressive baserunning has put him on pace to collect double-digit steals for what would be just the third time in his lengthy career. Freeman has only nine RBI on the season, but he's doing almost everything else well, slashing .292/.377/.451 with six doubles and 21 runs scored.

Red Sox's Triston Casas: Back in action
Casas is back in the lineup Monday against the Blue Jays after being given consecutive days off, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.
Manager Alex Cora wanted to give the struggling Casas a couple days off in a row to clear his head, but the rookie is back in action Monday against Blue Jays right-hander Jose Berrios. Casas has posted a .576 OPS in 25 games this season.

This was Wade's third homer in his last four games, and he's hit safely in five straight contests, going 6-for-19 (.316) in that span. C.J. Cron 1B | BOS
Rockies' C.J. Cron: Launches three-run homer
Cron went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run and a double to go along with an additional RBI and run scored in Sunday's victory over the Diamondbacks.
Cron had Ryne Nelson's number Sunday, tagging him for a double in the second inning before swatting a three-run homer in the third that plated Charlie Blackmon and Jurickson Profar. Cron's breakout performance was much needed considering the 33-year-old was 2-for-20 (.100) in his last five games. Though Cron is striking out at a 27.6 percent clip overall and holds just a .188 average against right-handed pitching this season, Cron has been significantly better versus lefties with a .300/.323/.467 slash line.
