Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Powers team to victory
Guerrero went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 2-1 win over San Francisco.
Guerrero broke a scoreless tie in the sixth inning with a 413-foot two-run shot that gave the Blue Jays all the offense they needed to pull out the win. The long ball was the third in the past five games for the slugger, who has gone 8-for-22 with six extra-base hits and nine RBI over the hot stretch. Prior to the impressive run, Guerrero had been batting .243 (18-for-74) with just one homer over his first 20 contests in June.

Luke Raley RF | SEA
Rays' Luke Raley: Launches 13th homer
Raley went 2-for-3 with a solo homer and an additional run scored in Thursday's victory over the Diamondbacks.
Raley got the scoring started with a solo shot off Brandon Pfaadt in the first inning. It's Raley's 13th homer of the year, though just his third in his last 25 games. Still, the 28-year-old outfielder has been productive in that span -- he's gone 21-for-62 (.339) since the start of June. Raley's now slashing an impressive .276/.354/.573 with 40 runs scored, 30 RBI and eight stolen bases through 210 plate appearances this season.

Marlins' Yuli Gurriel: No broken bones
Gurriel did not suffer any broken bones to his face Thursday and is considered day-to-day, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Gurriel was in Thursday's lineup against Boston but was scratched after taking a groundball to the nose in pregame warmups. He seemingly avoided serious injury and could return as early as Friday, when the Marlins open a series in Atlanta.

Spencer Torkelson 1B | DET
Tigers' Spencer Torkelson: Goes deep twice Thursday
Torkelson went 2-for-3 with two walks, two home runs and four RBI in Thursday's 8-5 win over the Rangers.
Torkelson enjoyed a career day at the plate Thursday, recording his first multi-home run game in his second MLB season. The four RBI is also a career best. Torkelson now leads the team with 11 long balls and 39 RBI this season. Despite a middling .696 OPS overall, the 23-year-old is showing signs of living up to his potential as the 2020 No. 1 overall pick.

Anthony Rizzo 1B | NYY
Yankees' Anthony Rizzo: X-rays clean on elbow
X-rays came back negative on Rizzo's elbow after he was hit by a pitch in Thursday's win over the Athletics, Max Goodman of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Rizzo made an early exit from the contest, and Yankees manager Aaron Boone indicated the veteran first baseman will likely sit out Friday's series opener in St. Louis, but it's not an overly serious concern. Rizzo finished 1-for-3 with the HBP and a run scored Thursday in Oakland and is batting .269/.357/.430 with 11 homers and 37 RBI across 75 games this season.

Marlins' Yuli Gurriel: Scratched due to pregame injury
Gurriel was scratched from the lineup Thursday in Boston due to an apparent facial injury, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Phillies' Alec Bohm: Takes seat Thursday
Bohm is not in the lineup Thursday against the Cubs.

Marlins' Garrett Cooper: Scratched due to illness
Cooper was scratched from the lineup Thursday against the Red Sox due to an illness, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Jorge Soler will slide into DH duties with Yuli Gurriel sticking at first base and Jesus Sanchez being added to the lineup in right field. Cooper can safely be considered day-to-day as the Marlins wrap up this series at Fenway Park before heading to Atlanta for a three-game weekend set.

Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Giants' Wilmer Flores: Remains on bench
Flores is not in the lineup Thursday against the Blue Jays.
Flores hasn't appeared in a game since returning Tuesday from an IL stint for a bruised left foot -- potentially because the Giants don't want to expose him to the turf at Rogers Centre in Toronto. LaMonte Wade is playing first base in Thursday's series finale and J.D. Davis will handle the hot corner.
