Casas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

The lefty-hitting Casas will retreat to the bench with southpaw JP Sears on the bump for Oakland. Justin Turner will replace Casas at first base.

Solano went 3-for-4 with three doubles and one RBI in Saturday's 6-2 loss against the Orioles.

Solano doubled in each of his first three trips to the plate, with the last one scoring Byron Buxton in the sixth to bring Minnesota within four runs of the Orioles. The 35-year-old infielder has now hit safely in five straight games while registering two three-hit performances over that stretch. He's batting a robust .409 in July with seven extra-base hits, three RBI and three runs scored.

Naylor went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI in Saturday's 10-6 win over the Royals.

Naylor has posted three straight multi-hit efforts since he returned from a minor wrist injury. He's added four RBI and two runs scored in that span. The 26-year-old is leading the Guardians with a .306 average, and he's added an .830 OPS with 11 home runs, 64 RBI, 33 runs scored, five stolen bases and 19 doubles over 78 contests.

Votto went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run against Milwaukee in an 8-5 win Saturday.

Votto continues to swing a hot bat, notching three multi-hit performances over his past five games. The veteran has homered four times during that span while knocking in 13 runs. The hot stretch has pushed his slash line up to .259/.365/.685, and Votto has clearly found his groove after a slow start to the campaign.

Bell went 3-for-3 with a double, two walks, two RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 10-6 win over the Royals.

Bell had gone 4-for-31 (.129) over his previous eight games before getting aboard five times Saturday. This was his third three-hit effort of the season. The first baseman is up to a .231/.320/.383 slash line with nine home runs, 42 RBI, 19 runs scored and 17 doubles through 81 contests overall. Bell is striking out at a 21.5 percent rate, his highest mark since 2020, which has likely played a role in his weaker numbers this year.

Batten went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Mets.

Batten made an impact in his first at-bat Saturday, providing the Padres' margin of victory with his first big-league homer. He got 22 plate appearances with the Padres last season but had spent all of 2023 with Triple-A El Paso prior to Tuesday's call-up. He could get another turn at second base Sunday if Ha-Seong Kim (toe) remains out of the lineup, but Batten has no clear long-term path to playing time.

Freeman went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 10-5 win over the Angels.

Freeman has hit safely in all but one of his last 13 games, going 19-for-55 (.345) in that span. He's homered in three straight contests, bringing his total to 17 on the year. The first baseman has added 61 RBI, 72 runs scored, 12 stolen bases, 31 doubles and a .320/.396/.556 slash line over 89 games as one of baseball's most consistent hitters.

Aranda was recalled by the Rays on Saturday and will bat seventh as the designated hitter against Atlanta, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Aranda was recalled to take the place of Josh Lowe, who landed on the bereavement list. Aranda struggled to a .192/.276/.321 line in his 32-game debut last year but has hit .342/.455/.589 with 16 homers in 71 games for Triple-A Durham this season.

Smith isn't in the Nationals' lineup Saturday against Texas, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

With southpaw Andrew Heaney starting on the mound for Texas, the lefty-hitting Smith will stay put in Washington's dugout to begin the game. Joey Meneses will fill in at first base while Smith sits, moving Jeimer Candelario into the DH spot while Ildemaro Vargas start at third base.

Hall isn't in the Phillies' lineup Saturday against Miami.

Hall is 4-for-19 with a homer and two RBI since returning from Triple-A on July 2. He'll catch a breather Saturday against lefty Braxton Garrett, moving Alec Bohm to first base and allowing Edmundo Sosa to start at third and bat eighth.
