Rice went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk against Texas in Monday's 4-2 victory.

Rice opened the scoring in the contest with a two-run blast to center field in the third inning. That gave him at least one RBI in three of his past four games and pushed him to 10 total homers, tied for fourth-most in MLB. After breaking out with an .836 OPS and 26 long balls during the regular season last year, Rice has been even better in the early going of the current campaign. He's slashing .322/.447/.744 and has complemented the 10 homers with 23 RBI, 26 runs and a stolen base through 114 plate appearances.

The Marlins activated Morel (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Monday.

Morel is finally ready to make his Marlins debut after going down with a left oblique strain in late March. He participated in four rehab contests with Triple-A Jacksonville, going 3-for-14 with a 2:5 BB:K. Morel was slated to be Miami's primary first baseman before getting hurt, but it's unclear if he'll have as clear of a path to an everyday role now that he's healthy again. He'll face competition for reps at the position from Connor Norby, who will start at first base in Monday's series opener against the Dodgers while Morel is relegated to the bench.

The Mets claimed Wagaman off waivers from the Twins on Monday.

Wagaman had been designated for assignment by the Twins last week after hitting only .159/.284/.254 early on at Triple-A St. Paul. The 28-year-old has been assigned to Triple-A Syracuse, where he will give the Mets right-handed hitting depth in the corner infield and outfield spots.

Naylor (quadriceps) will start at first base and bat cleanup in Monday's game against the Twins.

Naylor didn't play in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Cardinals while he managed a tight quad, but the one day off appears to be all the slugging first baseman needed to overcome the issue. Before taking a seat Sunday, Naylor had been on fire at the dish, having gone 12-for-25 (.480 average) with one home run, two doubles, four stolen bases, four RBI and three runs over his previous seven starts.

Hoskins will start at first base and bat cleanup in Monday's game against the Rays.

Hoskins will remain in the lineup for a fourth straight game after getting on base in five of his 12 plate appearances over the previous three contests. The 33-year-old should continue seeing regular starts versus left-handed pitching at the expense of Kyle Manzardo, but Hoskins will likely remain limited to more of a part-time role against righties.

Manzardo is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rays.

Manzardo will take a seat for the third straight game, with two of his absences coming against left-handed starters and the other against a right-hander. Rhys Hoskins will draw another start at first base in place of Manzardo, who is slashing .224/.308/.310 with one home run, five RBI and two runs in April.

Guerrero went 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored and an RBI in Sunday's win over the Guardians.

It's the third three-hit performance in the last seven games for Guerrero, although only three of his 11 knocks during that span (two doubles and a homer) have gone for extra bases. The first baseman isn't supplying his usual power yet this season with just two home runs and 14 RBI in 27 contests, but his .340 batting average is second in the American League behind Yordan Alvarez's .358 mark, and Guerrero's .426 OBP is third behind Alvarez and Ben Rice.

Caglianone went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 11-9 extra-inning win over the Angels.

Caglianone was on the bench to start the contest, but he came in as a pinch hitter for Starling Marte in the eighth inning. Caglianone struck out in that at-bat, but he came through an inning later with a game-tying homer when the Royals were down to their last out. He's hit safely in nine of his last 10 games, going 11-for-36 (.306) with two homers, four RBI and a 4:12 BB:K in that span. For the season, Caglianone is batting .263 with a .769 OPS, two homers, four RBI, 11 runs scored, five doubles, one triple and no stolen bases across 90 plate appearances. He continues to hold down a strong-side platoon role in right field.

Walker went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and four RBI in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Yankees.

Walker extended his hitting streak to four games Sunday and also went deep in his second consecutive contest. The veteran first baseman is off to a strong start at the plate in 2026, batting .291 with seven homers, eight doubles, 23 RBI and 13 walks across 103 at-bats. Walker is already up to four three-hit efforts on the campaign as well.

Lowe went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during the Reds' 8-3 loss to the Tigers on Sunday.

Lowe put the Reds on the board in the second inning with a solo long shot of Keider Montero. Lowe is up to four home runs on the season, all of which have come over his last three outings. He is slashing .256/.333/.605 with 10 RBI and six runs scored across 48 plate appearances this season.
