Court was designated for assignment by the Mariners on Tuesday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Court was promoted to the big-league club at the beginning of September when rosters expanded, but he saw just seven at-bats over four games before getting kicked off the 40-man roster.

Gurriel (hamstring) isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Athletics, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Gurriel remains day-to-day with left hamstring discomfort, and although he was able to run at 85 percent and take part in some fielding work Monday, he hasn't been cleared for game action just yet. Aledmys Diaz gets the start at first base and will bat sixth.

Voit isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Tigers, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

Voit will head to the bench after collecting a pair of base knocks, including a double, in Monday's matchup with Boston. Mike Ford starts at first base and will hit seventh.

Cron isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nationals, Brandon Warne of ZoneCoverage.com reports.

Cron was also held out of Sunday's matchup, and following Monday's scheduled off day, he's in line for a third straight day of rest. Willians Astudillo gets the nod at first base and is set to bat seventh.

Beaty is not starting Tuesday against the Orioles, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Beaty sits for the second time in three games after starting each of the previous four. David Freese starts at first base with lefty Ty Blach on the mound for the Orioles.

Flores went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Mets.

Flores' fifth-inning blast was all the Diamondbacks' offense could muster against Mets right-hander Jacob deGrom. For Flores, the homer was his ninth and first off a right-hander in 2019. He was recently promoted from being a starter against left-handed pitching only to playing every day.

France will take on a utility role moving forward this season, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

France made four consecutive starts at second base to begin September but has not been in the lineup in any of the four subsequent games. He's likely to start Tuesday, though manager Andy Green indicated that France is being looked at in a "bounce-around role" that includes playing only periodically. Green also stated that the decision is largely due to the recent play of Greg Garcia, who has drawn walks in five of his last 12 plate appearances.

Alonso went 2-for-4 with two solo homers in Monday's 3-1 win over Arizona.

Alonso's storybook rookie season keeps getting better as he's up to 47 homers and 107 RBI this season. He carried the offense again Monday with homers in the first and fifth innings. Alonso owns a .968 OPS and has a shot at reaching the 50-homer mark this month.

Bell will head to the bench for Monday's game against San Francisco.

Bell is in line for another day off after also taking a seat for Sunday's series finale. Jose Osuna will get the nod at first base and bat cleanup.

Gurriel is expected to repeat that pregame routine Tuesday before the Astros determine his availability for the remainder of the team's series vs. Oakland. Aledmys Diaz is once again starting at first base for the 35-year-old, who has been sidelined since Friday with left hamstring discomfort.
