Luke Voit 1B | NYM
Cardinals' Luke Voit: Brings home four with timely hitting
Voit went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles and four RBI against the Brewers on Tuesday.
Interestingly enough, Voit drove in half those runs with a single out; with the bases loaded in the third inning, he hit into a fielder's choice that plated two runs thanks to Dexter Fowler's brilliant baserunning. This was Voit's first start since being recalled from Triple-A, and if Matt Carpenter keeps sliding over to third base in Jedd Gyorko's (hamstring) absence, the 26-year-old rookie could draw a decent number of additional starts at first base. That could result in some late-season fantasy value, as Voit has mashed at Triple-A this year.

Anthony Rizzo 1B | NYY
Cubs' Anthony Rizzo: Stays hot with three hits
Rizzo went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a run scored and an RBI Tuesday against the Pirates.
Rizzo has been tearing the cover off the ball of late with five extra-base hits and nine RBI over his past four games. The first baseman's line has shot up to .279/.396/.532.

Freddie Freeman 1B | LAD
Braves' Freddie Freeman: Tuesday's game rained out
Freeman won't play Tuesday against the Phillies after the game was postponed due to rain, Meghan Montemurro of The News Journal reports.
The Braves and Phillies will make up Tuesday's contest as part of a doubleheader Wednesday. Freeman went hitless in the series opener Monday, leaving him 0-for-11 over the Braves' past four contests.

Rhys Hoskins 1B | CLE
Phillies' Rhys Hoskins: Tuesday's game rained out
Hoskins won't play Tuesday against the Braves after the game was postponed due to rain, Meghan Montemurro of The News Journal reports.
Hoskins will have to wait another day to start a new home-run streak, as the Phillies and Braves will instead make up Tuesday's contest as part of a doubleheader Wednesday. Prior to going 2-for-4 with a double and single in the series opener Monday, Hoskins had gone deep in eight of his previous nine contests.

Justin Bour 1B | SF
Marlins' Justin Bour: Takes batting practice Monday
Bour (oblique) took a few swings in batting practice before Monday's game, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
The Marlins are running out of time to send Bour on a minor-league rehab assignment, but with Double-A Jacksonville leading the Southern League's South division and likely headed for the playoffs beginning next Wednesday, the organization could have the first baseman join the affiliate for the postseason before being activated from the DL. Bour was enjoying a career year before getting hurt in late July, posting a .914 OPS through 87 games. He sits just two homers shy of his personal best.

Tommy Joseph 1B | TEX
Phillies' Tommy Joseph: Heads to bench Monday
Joseph is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Braves, Matt Gelb of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Joseph is 0-for-7 with five strikeouts over his last two games, so he'll get the day off to clear his head as Rhys Hoskins takes over for him at first base. Hoskins has been on a tear since his promotion, and with Aaron Altherr (hamstring) and Odubel Herrera (hamstring) both nearing a return to the Phillies' outfield, Joseph could start to see Hoskins take more starts from him at first base if he doesn't pick it up at the dish.

Paul Goldschmidt 1B | NYY
Diamondbacks' Paul Goldschmidt: Provides another homer Sunday
Goldschmidt went 2-for-3 with a home run, two walks and three RBI in Sunday's 11-0 triumph over the Giants.
After going 0-for-11 during a three-game stretch from Aug. 19 to Aug. 21 -- his longest drought at the plate all season -- Goldschmidt has unsurprisingly returned to vintage form. Over the Snakes' last six contests, the first baseman has reached base at a .480 clip while providing four extra-base hits, eight RBI and a stolen base. With the second 30-homer, 20-steal season of his career in sight to go with a personal-best .427 on-base percentage, Goldschmidt is building a more compelling argument than ever for his first National League MVP award.

Asdrubal Cabrera 1B | CIN
Mets' Asdrubal Cabrera: Resting Sunday night
Cabrera is out of the lineup for Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Nationals, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports.
After hitting a three-run blast in the Mets' earlier game Sunday, Cabrera will get a much-deserved night off. Gavin Cecchini will fill in at second base and hit eighth with Cabrera out. The club has Monday off, so look for Cabrera to be back in action Tuesday against the Reds.

Luke Voit 1B | NYM
Cardinals' Luke Voit: Rejoins big club
Voit was recalled from Triple-A Memphis on Sunday.
The Cardinals will bring back Voit from the Triple-A club to offer some extra depth in the corner infield following Jedd Gyorko's (hamstring) placement on the disabled list in a corresponding move. With Matt Carpenter on track to assume an everyday role at first base and outfielders Stephen Piscotty and Jose Martinez also capable of playing the position when needed, it's unlikely that Voit will see steady at-bats in his latest stint with the Cardinals.

Rhys Hoskins 1B | CLE
Phillies' Rhys Hoskins: Continues to rake in Saturday loss
Hoskins went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer Saturday against the Cubs.
Hoskins blasted his 10th home run of the season to give the Phillies a brief lead in a game they'd go on to lose. The rookie's on an amazing tear in which he's homered in seven of his last eight games, and fantasy managers can only hope that he can keep up this unbelievable pace for a while longer.
