Wade is leading off and starting in right field in his first game back from the injured list Friday against the Cardinals, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Wade, who typically plays mostly against righties, will slot right in atop the order with Jordan Hicks on the hill for St. Louis. The lefty-hitting first baseman/outfielder had seven walks and zero strikeouts in seven rehab games.

Wade, who is eligible at first base and the outfield in most formats, will likely start primarily against right-handed pitching and will therefore likely be in Friday's lineup against Jordan Hicks. Wade hit .238/.433/.476 with seven walks, zero strikeouts and one home run in seven rehab games.

Hiura was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Friday.

Hiura went 1-for-4 with a solo homer and three strikeouts Thursday against the Reds, but the long ball wasn't enough to retain his spot on the big-league roster. He has a .688 OPS in 42 plate appearances, but his 47.6 percent strikeout rate remains a significant issue. Hiura should receive more regular playing time down with Nashville.

Solano (hamstring) is still experiencing soreness following his PRP injection, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Solano was shut down from running when he received his PRP injection April 28, but he's still managing soreness over a week later. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to resume baseball activities, but once he does, he'll likely need time to ramp back up following his shutdown.

Hiura went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's victory over the Reds.

The long ball was the second of the season for Hiura, who is hitting better and walking more than he did last season but has also struck out in nearly half of his 42 PA. He has started 12 games this season, and with the Brewers healthy, he figures to continue working in a part-time role.

Voit (biceps) is expected to need a one-week rehab stint with Triple-A El Paso, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Voit reportedly feels fully healthy, but he is remaining on his rehab stint to fully find his swing prior to returning to San Diego. He has made two appearances with El Paso, collecting no hits through six at-bats while striking out twice. Given the new timeline, Voit will likely be back with the big-league club at some point during the series with the Cubs that begins Monday.

There was a chance for Wade to make his season debut Thursday, but he experienced soreness in his knee, per Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. The renewed soreness isn't believed to be a serious issue. Wade participated in seven games with Triple-A Sacramento while on a rehab assignment, and he collected five hits in 21 at-bats. He should return to the large side of a platoon in left field, sharing at-bats with Darin Ruf and Austin Slater.

Padlo was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Thursday, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Padlo was recalled by the Giants to make his debut with the team Tuesday. He started each of the last two games at third base while hitting seventh and collected one hit in five at-bats. Padlo will continue to serve as organizational depth at both corner infield positions, though the impending return of Evan Longoria (finger) complicates his potential to make an impact with the big-league club moving forward.

Beaty isn't starting Thursday's game against the Marlins.

Beaty has gone 1-for-18 with three runs, two walks and a strikeout over his last six games, and he'll take a seat with left-hander Jesus Luzardo on the mound for the Marlins. Trayce Thompson will start in right field and bat ninth.

Voit (biceps) has gone 0-for-6 with two walks, two strikeouts and a run in two rehab games with Triple-A El Paso.

Voit has worked a walk in both of his minor-league games thus far, which is far from surprising given his 19.2 percent walk rate this season before he hit the injured list. The slugger appears close to returning to the big club and could be back during San Diego's weekend series against the Marlins.
