Twins' Spencer Steer: Moves to Triple-A
The Twins promoted Steer from Double-A Wichita to Triple-A St. Paul on Monday, Seth Stohs of TwinsDaily.com reports.
Steer will move up to Triple-A after he produced a .976 OPS in 156 plate appearances for Wichita to begin the 2022 campaign. The OPS represents an increase of more than 200 points from the mark he posted over 280 plate appearances with Wichita in 2021.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Power outage continues
Guerrero went 0-for-3 with a walk Sunday in the Blue Jays' 3-2 loss to the Reds.
Since smacking his seventh home run of the season May 5, Guerrero has gone without an extra-base hit, but a 15-game hitting streak from May 2 through May 18 at least allowed him to bring value for fantasy managers in the batting-average category. He wasn't able to keep up that pace in the Blue Jays' weekend series with Cincinnati, however, as he finished the three-game slate with an 0-for-11 mark at the plate. Now sitting on a .262/.347/.434 slash line for the season, the struggling Guerrero could be in line for a day off in the near future.

Josh Naylor 1B | SEA
Guardians' Josh Naylor: Goes deep in return
Naylor went 1-for-2 with a solo homer and a walk in Sunday's 4-2 loss to Detroit.
Naylor started for the first time since May 10 after a trip to the COVID-19 injured list and launched his sixth home run of the season off Alex Faedo in the fourth inning. He also drew a walk and was hit by a pitch. The 24-year-old slugger is 15-for-38 (.395) over his last 11 games, improving his season slash line to .351/.395/.649 with 10 extra-base hits and 22 RBI.

Ryan Mountcastle 1B | BAL
Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: Dealing with cramps
Mountcastle was removed from Sunday's game against the Rays due to heat-related body cramps, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Mountcastle didn't show any clear signs of injury before leaving the matchup with a trainer after leading off the bottom of the ninth inning with a single. It seems unlikely that his cramps will prompt a trip to the injured list, and he should tentatively be considered day-to-day.

Ryan Mountcastle 1B | BAL
Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: Exits with trainer
Mountcastle exited Sunday's game against the Rays in the bottom of the ninth inning due to an apparent injury, Zachary Silver of MLB.com reports.
Mountcastle led off the bottom of the ninth inning with a single, but he was visited by a trainer and left the game after reaching first base. Prior to his departure, he went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, two runs, a walk and a strikeout. The nature of his injury isn't yet known, and it's not clear whether he'll be available for Monday's series opener against the Yankees.

Andrew Vaughn 1B | MIL
White Sox's Andrew Vaughn: On bench for Game 1
Vaughn is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Yankees.
The 24-year-old has a .437 OPS and 32.1 percent strikeout rate in seven games since returning from the injured list May 13, and he'll take a seat for Sunday's matinee. AJ Pollock will shift to left field while Adam Engel starts in right. Vaughn is likely to be back in the lineup for the nightcap.

Yandy Diaz 1B | TB
Rays' Yandy Diaz: Out of Sunday's lineup
Diaz (shoulder) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
Diaz exited Saturday's contest with a strained left shoulder and will be held out of the lineup for the series finale. It's unclear whether he will require a stint on the injured list, but the team will have Monday's scheduled off day to evaluate him before the 30-year-old misses additional time. Ji-Man Choi will take over at first base while Harold Ramirez bats cleanup as the designated hitter Sunday.

Bobby Dalbec 1B | CHW
Red Sox's Bobby Dalbec: Enters for Verdugo
Dalbec went 1-for-2 with a walk and an RBI in Saturday's 6-5 win over Seattle.
Per usual these days, Dalbec was not in the starting lineup against a righty, but he entered after Alex Verdugo was removed with flu-like symptoms. Franchy Cordero shifted from first base to left field, while Dalbec took Cordero's spot. The Red Sox will learn more about Verdugo's status and were uncertain about his availability Sunday, so Dalbec could slot in against right-hander Logan Gilbert.

Dustin Harris 1B | HOU
Rangers' Dustin Harris: Launches two in win
Harris went 3-for-4 with two home runs, six RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored for Double-A Frisco on Saturday.
Harris, who swatted 20 homers in two minor-league stops in 2021, is having quite a week for the RoughRiders. The power prospect has mashed five home runs in 24 at-bats over the last five games. He leads Frisco with 30 RBI and is second with seven home runs.

Yandy Diaz 1B | TB
Rays' Yandy Diaz: Leaves early with shoulder strain
Diaz left Saturday's contest versus the Orioles early with a left shoulder strain, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Diaz exited in the bottom of the sixth inning and was replaced at third base by Isaac Paredes. He went 1-for-3 with a run scored before he left. Diaz is considered day-to-day and will be reevaluated Sunday.
