France went 2-for-4 with an RBI sacrifice fly, a triple and a run in a win over the Athletics on Thursday.

France's RBI ironically didn't stem from his leadoff triple in the sixth inning, his first of the season. However, he did come around to score on Jarred Kelenic's double later in that frame, and he was able to author his third multi-hit effort in the last seven games in the process. France also has seven RBI during that span, courtesy of a .333 average with men on base in the sample.

Aranda went 2-for-4 with one homer, one RBI and three runs scored in Thursday's 10-5 victory over the Blue Jays.

Aranda sparked the Rays offense with a leadoff home run off Jose Berrios in the first inning and came around to score again in the second on a Wander Franco single. The third-baseman reached base three times in the contest, scoring a run on each occasion. It was a nice game for Aranda, who was held hitless in the previous three-game series against the Astros. The promising rookie is hitting a solid .278 with two homers and six RBI through 22 games this season, while also drawing six walks.

Casas went 1-for-4 with one homer, one RBI and one run scored in Thursday's loss to the Yankees.

Casas led off the seventh inning with a homer off righty reliever Clarke Schmidt to get the Red Sox on the board and cut the deficit to two. The 22-year-old rookie has had a particularly difficult time recently as he was 0-for-14 during his last six games prior to this contest. The first baseman now has three extra-base hits in the majors, all of which are home runs.

Diaz (shoulder), who isn't starting Thursday against the Blue Jays, recently received a cortisone injection, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Diaz is on the bench for a third consecutive game Thursday due to left shoulder soreness , but manager Kevin Cash said that the third baseman is trending in the right direction. It's possible Diaz returns to action for Friday's matchup against Toronto.

Gurriel isn't in the lineup Thursday against the Orioles.

Gurriel started the last four games but will get a breather after he went 2-for-15 with a run, an RBI and three strikeouts. Trey Mancini will take his place at first base and bat sixth.

Dalbec was recalled from Triple-A Worcester on Thursday, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

He is not in the lineup against the Yankees but should be available off the bench. Dalbec should occupy the short side of a platoon at first base while also seeing time at designated hitter and as a pinch hitter. He hit .250 with five home runs and 14 strikeouts in 13 games at Triple-A this month.

Diaz (shoulder) is not in Thursday's lineup against the Blue Jays, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

This is the third game in a row that Diaz will miss with left shoulder soreness. Jonathan Aranda is leading off and manning the hot corner while Ji-Man Choi starts at first base and hits eighth.

Naylor went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 8-2 victory over the White Sox.

Naylor homered off righty reliever Jose Ruiz with one out in the seventh to build the Guardians' lead to 8-1. The first baseman has struggled to find hits in his last 10 games, turning in a .189 average over 37 at-bats; however, the 25-year-old has two home runs, six RBI and six walks during that same span.

Guerrero went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's extra-inning loss to the Phillies.

Guerrero provided all the offense for the Blue Jays in Wednesday's contest, launching a three-run shot off Seranthony Dominguez in the top of the eighth inning. The homer was his 30th of the year and third in his last seven games. Guerrero also extended his hit streak to 14 consecutive games in the contest, batting .306 with three homers, five doubles, seven RBI, nine runs and a stolen base over that span.

Manzardo hit .327/.405/.582 with five home runs and a 14:19 BB:K across 29 games to finish out the season following his promotion to Double-A Montgomery.

That's almost as good as what he did at High-A Bowling Green before being promoted (.329/.436/.636). He finishes the 2022 regular season with 22 homers and 81 RBI in 93 games across the two levels, not to mention nearly as many walks (59) as strikeouts (65). The 21-year-old Manzardo could very well crack the majors at some point next year.
