Singleton is not in the lineup Saturday versus Minnesota.

France went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, a two-run double and a walk in Friday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

France ended up a triple shy of the cycle, but he hasn't legged out a three-bagger since 2022. The infielder went 14-for-39 (.359) with three homers and nine RBI over his last 12 games in May, making him one of the Mariners' hotter hitters. For the year, France has a .260/.325/.411 slash line, seven homers, 24 RBI, 18 runs scored and eight doubles over 55 contests while seeing a starting role at first base.

Schanuel was scratched from the Angels' lineup ahead of Friday's game against the Mariners due to left thumb soreness.

Schanuel was originally set to start at first base and bat in the leadoff spot Friday, but thumb problems will prevent him from doing so. Willie Calhoun will cover first base in Schanuel's place, moving Matt Thaiss into the DH spot while batting seventh.

Torkelson will take a day to clear his head after getting three hits in his last 20 at-bats. The 24-year-old first baseman will cede duties to Gio Urshela, who will bat seventh and get his inaugural start at first base this year.

Pasquantino missed Wednesday's game due to a shin injury, but his absence wasn't a long one. He served as the designated hitter Thursday, but it shouldn't be long before he's back at first base. The 26-year-old's homer was his first since May 9, which was also the date of his previous multi-hit effort. Pasquantino is slashing just .229/.309/.404 with six homers, 35 RBI, 26 runs scored, 13 doubles and a triple over 220 plate appearances.

Rizzo isn't in the Yankees' lineup for Thursday's game against the Angels.

Rizzo owns a .351 OPS across his past six games, so the Yankees will give him a rare day off Thursday so he can clear his head. DJ LeMahieu will shift to first base while Oswaldo Cabrera starts at the hot corner, batting ninth.
