    The Browns hosted Manning (undisclosed) for a workout Friday, https://x.com/HBalzer721/status/2108696612948382036Howard Balzer of USA Today reports. Manning was let go by the Bears with an injury settlement in early September, but it looks like he's fully recovered from his unspecified health concern. He has not played in a regular-season game since entering the NFL in May of 2025 as an undrafted free agent.

    Manning (undisclosed) was waived from the Bears' injured reserve Wednesday with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Manning reverted to the Bears' IR on Aug. 31 after clearing waivers. The cornerback played in the first two preseason games with the team, logging 11 tackles (nine solo) and two passes defensed. The second-year player out of Oregon has already cleared waivers and is now a free agent able to sign with any franchise.

If the 24-year-old clears waivers, he'll revert to season-ending injured reserve with Chicago. If that is the case, Manning would have to reach an injury settlement with the Bears to have a chance to play during the 2026 campaign.
