  • Buccaneers' Roman Parodie: Returns to Tampa Bay

The Bucs signed Parodie to a contract Monday, Gabriel Kahalan of the team's official site reports. Parodie was waived from the Bucs' injured-reserve list in September 2025, but he remained a free agent for the remainder of the season. The cornerback is now back with the Buccaneers and ready to compete for a depth spot on the 53-man roster. Considering his prior history with the team, Parodie likely has a good chance of landing on the practice squad if he doesn't make the 53-man roster.

Parodie was waived/injured by Tampa Bay late August due to an undisclosed issue, and he subsequently reverted to IR. Now, once healthy, he'll be eligible to sign with a team and contribute during the 2025 season.

  • Buccaneers' Roman Parodie: Heads to injured reserve

Parodie (undisclosed) was reverted to the Bucs' injured reserve list Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction log. The cornerback was waived/injured by the team a day earlier, according to Scott Smith of the Bucs' official site. Parodie will have to reach an injury settlement with Tampa Bay to play this season. He signed with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio back in May.
