    Toliver was activated off the Ravens' practice squad COVID list Tuesday, Clifton Brown from the team's official website reports. The 26-year-old tested positive for COVID-19 on Dec. 21, finally returning to the practice squad Tuesday. Toliver has yet to appear in a game this year and likely won't, as the regular season wraps up this week.

    Toliver (illness) was placed on the Ravens' practice squad COVID-19 list Tuesday, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports. Toliver tested positive for the virus, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports. He has yet to appear in a game this season, but with the numerous ailments plaguing the Ravens' secondary at the moment, Toliver could earn a look on the active roster. He'll have to clear protocols first, though.

  • Kevin Toliver: Won't stay in Denver

    The Broncos chose not to tender a contract to Toliver (knee) on Wednesday, making him an unrestricted free agent, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports. Due in part of his familiarity with head coach Vic Fangio's defense from their mutual time in Chicago in 2018, Toliver was called up to Denver's active roster on a pair of occasions over the latter half of last season. In his Week 14 appearance against Carolina, he suffered a torn ACL, putting an end to Toliver's third professional campaign. Once fully recovered from the late-season knee injury, the defensive back will look to find a home elsewhere.

  • Broncos' Kevin Toliver: Tears ACL, done for year

    Toliver suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's 37-27 win over the Panthers, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports. Toliver is done for the season; he's the third Broncos cornerback to suffer a torn ACL in the last two games, as both Essang Bassey and Duke Dawson also picked up season-ending injuries. With the plethora of injuries in the secondary, Michael Ojemudia and De'Vante Bausby figure to be the team's starting cornerbacks for the time being.

  • Broncos' Kevin Toliver: Earns promotion Sunday

    The Broncos elevated Toliver to the 53-man roster from the practice squad Sunday. With Davontae Harris ruled out of Sunday's game with a hamstring issue, the team elected to get in-house reinforcements. Toliver saw action in 12 games with the Bears last season, making 13 tackles (12 solo) and two pass breakups over that span.
